Just watched goal highlights; 1 Nylander gift-wrapped goal (turnover) to Fournier. Didier let guy get way too close and roofed one on Fucale. 2 Dumont short-side roof (like Galchenyuk's vs Rangers) Tipped shot for T.O. 3 Fournier wrap-around, nice goal. 4 Slapshot from point to top of net by Hudon (McCarron in front of net likely helped). 5 Hudon basically a breakaway and nice deak.

I saw highlights and on one goal he seemed slow when "his" man stepped out from corner and buried one before he really did anything or anticipated it. BUT, it is a conditioning stint and was just his 1st game of year.

No don't give Fucale a NHL start...yet. He has been hot-cold in AHL and has key stuff to work on and improve; overplaying puck, strength etc. And little doubt he would get lit up by NHLers, maybe not every game, but what if it in his 1st one that he get shelled, seems too risky?

Yes I agree loser point dumbs down end of games. But seems there isn't a consensus opinion among HabFans on which of the half dozen or more options to go with. I simply don't like shootout (would prefer simply a tie after OT is over), but dosent seem to be going away and if made outcome worth full two points, seems would be a good start.

Galchenyuk & Plekanec got beat bad on faceoffs. 21:42 for Beaulieu, nice and Gilbert still darn scary when he has the puck and handcuffed Pateryn, Eller and others with crap passes. (what was Plekanec Pacorietty thinking on 2nd goal, leaving a 4 on 2 for easy goal?)
