  1. DD tied #1 scorer on NHLs #1 team, not bad for 3rd line centre eh...he still is awesome value for his salary (with no Pacioretty excuse, what will his critics whine about now I wonder!)
  2. Conon 4-0 leading league with 1.51 & .944, nice start to NHL career.
  3. One of best we got...then we are in trouble!
  4. On pace for 311 or almost 100 more goals than last year. Byron led Habs with 4 hits? 1:31 on the PP for lil Larry and gets puck in net. MItchell 5 gm point streak. Crappy Desharnais +3 3pts. Galchenyuk 67% on 12 faceoffs, Desharnais 25% on 12 faceoffs. Not sure why Subban & Markov needed to play 5+minutes on PP and over 24 in this game? Beaulieu is on fire, with a point in 2nd straight game, nice to see!
  5. There is, but I think AHL live is expensive.
  6. How will Winnipegian Weise follow up his hat-trick game?
  7. Well, any word on what happened to Carey? Or extent of injury?
  8. Yes for sure Semin will get another crack to prove himself, hope he plays with a bit of desperation and produces.
  9. Bit more pressure on Condon now to carry the ball. "Should" be an entertaining game and I guess Habs are the more rested team, not that it always helps to win. GHG
  10. Yes, McNivan was 1st star 1g on 33 shots. Vejdemo 1a, 3rd pt in 15 SHL games Nygren 1a, 11pts in 16gms
  11. Yes I haven't seen any good plays of note by Semin. Last year I crapped on Gilbert for longest time, but for all the stupid braindead decisions with the puck, he offset it with even more good plays and I guess relented on being overly critical of his play. But Rene Bourque 2.0 aka Semin, I have seen what we were afraid he would be...a 31 year old soft, slow, washed up has been who cant score anymore. (could he draw back in and score a few...maybe but doubtful, cut losses and go with youngster till Feb, Semin is not in any long term plan.)
  12. Is quite a conclusion; you sure it wasn't lack of secondary scoring, too many dumb turnovers and poor defense giving up 25 shots over last two periods? Hudon did have 6 shots & numerous scoring chances; but he did bury one.
  13. Gilbert, Emelin, Eller, DD & MT for bag of pucks (would seem a popular trade it seems by many fickle fans anyhow).
  14. McCarron is 7th in rookie scoring. holy? you had that posted before they scored on my feed?
  15. 2-1 IceCaps after 2 ( PBP guys pointed out the penalty stat about McCarron, just an interesting fact he is leading rookies in...something. ) Subban also took way too many penalties until 2 yrs ago he really (matured and) cut that # down and this year Subban is on pace for 49PIMs. So yes, it is a negative for McCarron to get suckered into weak retaliating minors and latest one was unnecessary roughing up goalie.
  16. Quickly 2-1 on bad IceCap turnover. Caps get another PP.
  17. 1:09 into 2nd Hudon (4th) rocket shot for 'beautiful' goal, just after Holloway had beauty set-up for Hudon. Lernout-Andrighetto assists.
  18. IceCaps out shot Hersey 14-5 in the 1st.
  19. McCarron gets his 10th minor for interference, leading AHL rookies in penalties.
  20. 5 on 3 for 31 seconds, can they score? (They said Thrower tossed a big open-ice hit last game, like he was known to do in the WHL, Thrower said he thought he was going to be tackled by opposing players for the hit, but wasn't)
  21. 3:51 Dietz (2nd) rips one from the point through screen and 1-0 from Barberio-Eishensmid (1st pro point) (Barberio is now the leading AHL d-man in scoring)
  22. Fucale is in Bennett sits, Lernout back in, Thrower gets another start. Neilson on 3rd line also Hanley is listed as Thrower's partner
  23. He isn't a "Beast" yet, but could be sent down some time I suppose.
  24. 19:32 for Markov, nice to see 19:19 for Beaulieu and great to see him get PPG. Habs are 9th in PP, 23.8% All did well on faceoffs cept Plekanec (10-25)
