Puck daddy with an interesting story here. Sounds like Bettman is more concerned with PR than the truth (or making a deal) http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/did-donald-fehr-memo-intentionally-misrepresent-nhl-offer-021613314--nhl.html

I'd rather play if we are thinking about the draft pick.

Marc Antoine Godin @MAGodin Save for some ponctual needs, Habs have decided to make Louis Leblanc a full time winger. -

Figured this would be a tough one for the Dogs. No real surprise. -
A look at team Finland for the World Juniors. http://lastwordonsports.com/2012/11/08/early-look-world-juniors-team-finland/ Last nights podcast is also available now too. In the sidebar.

Hudon was among the best players on the Q team, intercepting passes, creating turnovers, creating offence, and generally buzzing all over.

They'd fill some dates. Can they fill every date, making arenas completely and totally unavailable throughout the NHL? Highly doubtful. You could re-jig the schedule and start playing about 2.5 weeks after signing a deal. The schedule just would be different than originally planned. Much like the NBA last year.

Yeah, I dont think there is any value in Avtsin. Complete bust and time to cut bait. He'll go back to Russia and I doubt he ever comes back to North America, with the Habs or anyone else. He's not even as good as Perezhogin and look at what the trade value for him has been... zilch. -

Nice work on the week in review. One thing that intrigued me was the final thought on Avtsin. I agree 100%, kid should play, even if its in Wheeling. I think the organization has completely given up on him though, I expect him in Russia next season, if not sooner. -
I was saying Toews when I saw him as a 16 year old. Now he's added even more dangles to his repertoire. Here's another highlight package. Again, not Gally is currently not playing "centre" on the faceoff, as they have stacked the line by putting him with Sarault.... but when you watch the package, notice that after the faceoff, while the play is going on. Sarault is often in the RW spot and Gally playing the role of centre.

Hudon back in the saddle after missing games with a concussion, and being pointless friday in his first game back. In his second game today, he gets 3 assists

Wasn't the line Quailer - Geoffrion - Palushaj for most of the game? -
1 goal 2 assists today, still 10:00 left. For the 4th time in his last 6 games, Galchenyuk has scored at least 3 points.

He really needs to get off the Byfuglien diet. -

Beaulieu and Tinordi have both improved a lot already this season. I'm impressed by what Lefebvre and Dufrense are doing with these two. -
4 point night for Alex Galchenyuk In 3 of his last 5 games he has 3 or more points.

Not as many jobs for goalies as there are for skaters. Still I think Price would get one if he really wanted to though.

If the lockout continues, I have to think Team Canada is the favorite. Grigorenko - Yakupov is great, and they are playing at home... but Canada is super stacked. In fact I think overall Sweden has a better team on paper than the Russians, Landeskog, Forsberg, Larsson, Colberg, plus guys like Klefbom, Lindholm, etc... on defence.

Better make sure you are getting "TVA Sports" and not "TVA" or you will be disappointed.

I think Jones has the size and the defensive game over Pulock right now, though Pulock looks better offensively. I think teams will want Jones more. Wilson I'm not a fan of that draft pick, but kid can skate and hit, and Canada always has one of those type of players in the lineup. I call it the Jordan Tootoo effect.
