I may just be getting sucked in by his Coach's Corner coverage, but Brendan Witt looks like a mini-Komisarek/super-Bouillon/O'Byrne-role model that would certainly bring some grit and stability to the back end. I think he carries a fairly hefty price tag though.

I thought the Higgins goal was a penalty, but I'm with getting the bounces and the luck as long as the players don't fall back to relying on it.

My favourite part was when he didn't bail on the puck with that massive russian (Artukin?) barrelling down on him. O'Byrne passed the puck, took the big hit and stayed up. If he does nothing else but nullify other teams big players in our zone, he's worth the roster spot.

I just spent 25 hours, yes, over a day folks, downloading the latest XP update. I now officially miss highspeed internet.

Am I the only one that thinks Kaberle will cost more than Bouwmeester? Bouw is a rental, whereas Kaberle is under contract. Not to mention what it's going to cost to send a top defenseman to a division rival.

I thought the show was really well done (except for letting the intern director during the young stars game). They'll get the breakaway contest right eventually. It was better than last year's!
