Agreed! Forsberg, Selanne, what they're doing is totally allowable. What Neidermeyer did was a bit ballsless. Hems and haws on retirement, gets suspended by the team for not showing up, then decides "Okay guys, I think I will play now that the season is half over." If you're under contract, play or retire. Simple as that.

An excuse to brush up on Canadian law :puke: The Criminal Code does not now criminalize consensual sexual activity with or between persons 14 or over, unless it takes place in a relationship of trust or dependency, in which case sexual activity with persons over 14 but under 18 can constitute an offence, notwithstanding their consent. Even consensual activity with those under 14 but over 12 may not be an offence if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the complainant. The exception, of course, is anal intercourse, to which unmarried persons under 18 cannot legally consent, although both the Ontario Court of Appeal(3) and the Quebec Court of Appeal(4) have struck down the relevant section of the Criminal Code. Canada's age of consent laws are mainly based on "exploitative" sexual activity. From what I am reading, as long as it is a completely sincere and genuine sexual relationship, it is possible to have sex with someone over the age of 14 and under the age of 18. (Though who would want to? At some point you have to talk to them, and with every 5th word being "like" and every 10th word being "y'know"...I just don't think I could handle it.) I don't see anything about parents consent being legally binding, though that might help out in court in proving it wasn't an exploitative relationship. Injuries really decimated their roster recently. I'm glad we haven't been hit as hard. Come to think of it though...our team got better when players were injured.

If it truly is a broken thumb, I'd rather he sit out for awhile. It will be a great test to the team, and especially Plekanec to see if he can keep up his production with Kostitsyn and ______. Worst case scenario? They falter, and Bob sees for certain, that the team might need a bit of help at the deadline.

I only recognized the hockey guys. Who were the others? I think they could have done a better job with the judges. Snoop Dogg is a hockey fan isn't he? He'd be great as a judge. Elisha Cuthbert likes hockey so much she even somehow dated Sean Avery for an extended period of time. Make her a judge. This isn't rocket surgery here.
