  1. Great to have you! You will be up and running once Sakicq has the time to grant access.
  2. You're overstating humanity, and understating the desire to ice the best team possible (which players do respect).
  3. Gotta think Pittsburgh puts in a claim.
  4. so....judging by the photos, the team philosophy against the Sabres is "Hulk Smash!"?
  5. Except it was pretty much a hit from behind, which is never good to see.
  6. I think we can all agree, resoundingly, that Price now plays every single game against the Leafs. Ever.
  7. Gorges is 6'1" 195 lbs Bouillon is 5'8" 196 lbs Bouillon plays a more physical game, and is a bit more compact than Gorges.
  8. Funny you should mention that, it was Bouillon who hit Tucker during the penalty kill which took him a few seconds out of the play. Then Wellwood scored with waaaay too much space and time in front of the net. I'm sure Bouillon stands up better than Gorges would against the hulking Leaf forwards, but Gorges has the better breakout pass. So, it's kind of a trade off. Do you take Bouillon's physical tolerance (which is a better fit to combat the Leafs cycle) but worse breakout pass, or do you have Gorges get tossed around more than Bouillon but actually manage a tape to tape pass and help the Habs break the zone with speed?
  9. I wonder how he'd fare on an energy line with a guy like Kostopolous or Begin or Dandenault basically pushing him to work hard all the time. Up tempo shifts might just snap him back into shooting first, thinking later.
  10. Horrible period yes, but that line worked hard for that goal. Totally deserved.
  11. I'm not sure what you guys are complaining about...Markov was a clear penalty. The only undeserved call I've seen was the Kovalev penalty.
  12. What was that smurf doing with that much time in front of the net?
  13. Higgins and Koivu look good I think. Ryder is off tonight. I thought he was on the upswing after last game, but this is a terrible showing by him. I'm not sure how many chances he's supposed to get on the top line, but I think he's going to have to start proving himself on the 3rd and see what someone else can do with Higgins and Koivu. Latendresse is starting to look better...
  14. Streit looked soft there. Smolinksi too. Hell, maybe even Price too.
  15. I actually don't mind Kypreos that much. He can say a few things that just completely baffle, but I do notice he is right more often than not.
  16. Is it possible that the Sportsnet broadcast is more Leaf-centric than the CBC broadcast?
  17. I ask again, anyone preferring Gorges play to Bouillon's this season?
  18. well in the direction of which player did he fart?
  19. If Price is worse off than Huet against the Leafs, I don't know what I'll do. Price could win 74 games a season, but if we lose to Toronto 8 times a year... I just can't handle it.
  20. Watching his play he certainly doesn't look confident. A confident player would skate in with the chances he's had, snipe it like he should be, and skate back the bench with his balls hanging out. Ryder holds on to the puck, and waits, and second guesses, and waits, and triple guesses. He's hesitant. Where's the confidence there?
