  1. Yep. It seemed like people were going to rip him after that though. Steve Staios over Fitzpatrick? Who woulda thunk it? B)
  2. Yea. I wrote a big argument about it but then deleted it and just posted vote rory. B) Him(and his oiler bias) and Cherry can go run up a tree.
  3. Now imagine what the Blues could be like once they have E. Johnson, Oshie, Soderberg, Berglund, Schwarz etc etc in their lineup.... B)
  4. Well they beat Buffalo 3-2 in OT today.
  5. Well, you'd fit right in. You checked the forums right? After a while, you'll notice what I'm talking about.
  6. It's what happens when numerous 12 year olds find out what the internet is... Makes the site(and Nucks fans) look idiotic.
  7. Yep. It is a rebuilding year anyway. Once some of the youth can step in is when I think we'll finally start seeing results. However Canucks.com looks like an erupting volcano right now!
  8. It sure is. However, our future actually looks decent for once. That is one area where I actually think I'd really praise Nonis. He looks to have really turned our drafting around. We actually have some guys to look forward too! If this season goes down the drain, we can add to that group as we have a 1st and three 2nds.
  9. Yes! I was getting bored! Sure. The team is on and off and while even I'll admit it's been happening a bit more than I was expecting this team is still three points back of top spot in the NW division. With 5 of the next 6 games against Calgary and Edmonton, it will be a huge test forthe Canucks. How well they do in this stretch shall really determine where this team is. With key players playing through injuries and underperforming, it's frustrating to follow this team. It shall be interesting to see how they do.
  10. They aren't as good as the Habs. This year we are in a "rebuild" type year. Made some big changes and just threw in fillers. I see next season as the big season right now. With the Canucks, they've struggled as a whole. Their defense doesn't suck though... sometimes they area bit flat but they're a pretty solid group. About 3 games ago, Vigneault had made Mitchell the top shutdown guy which has allowed Ohlund to be more offensive. So far in those 3 games, Ohlie has a goal in each game. Bieksa continues to look amazing as well. Edler has been a pleasant surprise, but he should be up right now...not Tremblay... The problem with our defense right now is Salo has been out a lot. He's most likely back Tuesday and we'll see how long he lasts... The thing with this team is we couldn't finish. Vigneault tried every combo possible and has finally gone to the ones that were projected at the start of the season. Bulis with the twins and the Nazzy-Mo-Cooke line. Morrison from the past few games, looks like he's finally recovered. Cooke is back at his agitating best and Bulis is clicking with the twins. The offense looks to finally have awoken....except one player. Markus Naslund seems like he's lost all his confidence. He'll make a nice assist here and there, but he hasn't scored for a while now. Hopefully it's only a matter of time for him. Now for Luongo. He was great early on in the season but seemed to be getting frustrated. You would feel cheated sometimes if you've seen some of the goals that get scored on him. Just so frustrating to watch these incredibly lucky bounces keep going in consistently. Lately, it seems like he's turning his game around again. He's been stellar. We finally had a bounce go our way last night... finally! Even with me watching this team from the start of the season, I can't tell you whether they match Jet's description of them. They can dominate at times and sometimes look lost. Our great penalty kill has saved us a number of times and lately it's looking unbelievable. I'd consider us a wildcard right now still. We "look" to have turned the corner as well. If they can keep playing like they have, we "could" be a team to watch out for. Especially if Salo can come in and stay healthy. Or dare I say it...Nazzy return to form.
  11. Won 3 of last 4. Scored 15 goals in those 4 games. We get Pyatt back tonight. Vigneault will stick with line combos! Minny tonight! GO NUCKS GO! B)
  12. We stopped using them. Vintage were way more popular. B)
  13. I meant the ones with red in them. Yea it's our 3rd, but we call them Vintage. What kind of argument is this?
  14. To us it's "Vintage". B) We don't use our 3rd jersies anymore anyway.
  15. Yep. He has two sets of gear. The regular one and the vintage.
  16. You shouldn't have said that..... He's overpaid and struggling.... fine. However, the guy has always been solid defensively and a good playmaker and elevates his play come playoff time. Most notably back in 04 against the Flames where he was our top forward. He stepped up big time with Bertuzzi out and he showed what he's really capable of doing. The guy has been clutch for us as well numerous times. Last year he played through an injury for most of the season and no one knew until after the season was over. He didn't complain once. Yea, Morrison is struggling, but his linemates are Bulis and Pyatt(and you all know about Bulis already ). He isn't the only one however. The whole team has been struggling as well. You can carry on with your rumors now.B)
  17. I'M SHOCKED! You guys don't know?!?
  18. We've owned the Central actually. That's why we are where we are. A win against Edmonton tomorrow gives us top spot in the Division.
  19. Actually second. We are now 2-6-1 against divisonal rivals. B)
  20. I wouldn't mind it..... but I seriously doubt it... Like I mentioned above, we need to keep what youth we have and just be patient.
