Best Habs trade ever was getting Russ Courtnall for John Kordic. WTF were the Leafs thinking. Worst trade ever? Hmm. Roy? Chelios? Leclair/Desjardins? No.No.No. Claude Lemieux for Sylvain Turgeon - the habs got a useless, one dimensional POC (they didn't even protect him in the expansion draft) for the MVP of the Devil's first Cup. I think I may have cried the day they made that trade.

Scotty is at the top of my list of favorite players that never wore the blue, white and red. I'm sure Eric Lindros is thanking the Hockey Gods that he doesn't have to play against Stevens anymore.

Damphousse was is San Jose for 5 seasons. huh. I hope he made some good money, cuz he certainly didn't make any good memories. I thought he'd retired years ago.

I don't get this. He's getting more per season (at $6.8M) than Joe Thornton and almost as much as Iginla. This guy won a cup, which is a great accomplishment, but come on, he's never even had an 80 pt season. When TB won the cup, I thought both Richards and St. Louis played better. Now, this guy is about to be paid as one of the top 10 forwards in the game, and people think Syd Crosby has a lot to live up to. Ahhhh, I never understood the economics of this game before the cup and I sure as hell don't now.

I guess he'll be a UFA next summer (
