I agree, I think a turnaround will coincide with production from these guys, hopefully it starts tonight!

What we need is for Pacioretty, subban, Markov, DD (the vets) to start scoring again. Not good enough when two rookies in their first nhl games are the ones scoring almost the only goals. We're starting to miss Gallagher.

It's a hiccup. I think we're due for a 4 game win streak.

So, last night on George street (most bars per square foot in North America. Welcome to Newfoundland) when I was loaded out of my tree, I see Nikita Scherbak standing all by his lonesome. So like you would, I go straight up to him, tell him I'm a huge Habs fan, and immediately start talking about the first thing that comes to mind, the load of good lookin girls at the bar. Eventually he points out a girl he has his eye on, so I ended up talking to scherbak about who he wants to get busy with (now that's a good scouting report). Anyway, 99% just drunken conduct, and I ended up giving him a drunk motivational "man, you have a boatload of talent, you have what it takes to make it" (which I do truly believe). Ended up hangin out at the bar for about an hour, and he gave me his phone to add my number, LOL. Hilarious to me

Yea I absolutely loved the flash DD weise line. Patch and plex formed a line that could score AND defend, they miss Gallagher but those two are capable enough. Then Chucky and ghetto had a little chemistry too. I can understand the nervousness about this game. Washington is a great team. But hopefully our defense core can make a difference, as I think it's slightly better

I agree. Nate has actually shown a knack for fighting in the past IMO. Yes, he might not be a heavy weight and he lost cleanly last night, but I think he can hold his own in most cases. This was a learning experience

Amazing that we picked up 5 people in the last year (5!) who either play, or can play RW (DSP, Semin, Kassian, Flynn, Byron) and yet our biggest need is a RW. The injuries are a big test right now. Gallagher and Price, at probably our 4th and 1st most important players respectively. It would be similar TB losing stammer and bishop, or the rags losing lunqvist and Nash. And yet I'm not freaking out. We still have Subban, Pacioretty, Plex, Chucky, Markov, Petry. As well as DD weise and flash's solid line. Even without galley and price we still look better than half the teams in the league. Good job management! Let's hope the boys still bring it.

Well, tokarski should be getting a few looks now too. Luckily Condon has been a great backup this far, so I think we can pull off 6 weeks.

I agree, I've made excuses for Eller in the past, and still like him as a player, but I don't see him the way I used to. He was all potential and that's pretty much run out. He was drafted with Subban and Pacioretty for god sake, and they are seen as top 5 (or higher) at their positions. At 3.5, he's not quite enough. wouldn't be upset with a trade

Exactly,Although I have suggested it in the past, I would trade neither DD or Plex now. Very happy with DD when he isn't our #1, and he's been producing so well. Plex is playing as a #1. Besides, this team is as good as it is because it's a TEAM. Trading DD or Plex wouldn't help the chemistry at all. There have been enough leadership shakeups. The only people who make sense to trade while the team is performing so well are those such as Tinordi who is sitting in the box, or prospects we can afford to lose IMO.
