  1. I've done it a few times this year to avoid hearing the opponents' PBP, it's a bit frustrating I must admit. I've read on other boards (for other sports) that there are some sites out there that can delay the radio feed for x seconds to line it up with the TV...I've never looked for myself though.
  2. Just mute the TV and turn the radio on...best of both worlds. 1st intermission, 2-0 Hamilton. Desharnais to be interviewed.
  3. Bishop scores to make it 2-0! Vernace Anderson with the helper.
  4. Trying to figure out the lines for this one so far, this is what I have based on what I've heard - Lammy, I'm assuming you're watching the game on Cable 14, feel free to correct these: Russell-Stevenson-Wyman Conboy-Fortier-Palushaj Anderson-Masse-Bishop (this was the line that scored) Lacroix/Glumac subbed on the above lines periodically Belle-Subban Benoit-St. Denis Henry-Vernace
  5. But Trotter is just 1 point behind him; he could have passed Desharnais and set a new record (and then Desharnais could've re-passed him, etc...) Anderson scores to make it 1-0 Hamilton! Bishop the helper at 9:59.
  6. Bulldogs dressing a whopping 10 forwards for this one (with 7 d-men)...oh boy.
  7. Olivier Fortier makes his AHL debut as well. Desharnais, Trotter, White, and Weber the healthy scratches. Barring a 26 point effort by Subban, Desharnais will set the franchise record for points in a single season.
  8. Projected lineup for Toronto tonight: Forwards Kulemin-Bozak-Kessel Stalberg-Grabovski-Hanson Mitchell-Brent-Orr (Brent's 1st NHL game of the year) Primeau-Wallin-Sjostrom Scratches: Caputi*, Irwin, Lundmark Defense Beauchemin-Phaneuf (Phaneuf's birthday today actually) Kaberle-Schenn Exelby-Gunnarsson Scratch: Finger Goalie Giguere Gustavsson
  9. 4-2 now, 1 minute left. B's are making the playoffs.
  10. No idea but I've got the game on right now, B's are taking it to the Canes big time. Edit: Yes, that was an NHL record.
  11. If I remember correctly, it wasn't good news when that happened a couple of weeks ago... Edit: Bulldogs lost 4-3 in a SO, Habs lost 3-2 in OT each back on March 20th.
  12. We've seen how the Habs play with their destiny in their own hands...are you sure that's a good thing?
  13. Rangers win 4-3 (at least not in OT).
  14. 3-3 heading into the 3rd, Desjardins having a rough night at the office.
  15. Wyman scores his 2nd of the game to make it 3-2!
  16. I don't follow golf all that much but I do admit seeing Watson and Couples at the top caught my attention. As for Tiger, I couldn't care less - do we really need live updates on the sports stations every 15 minutes? He's back to golf, people are watching and all is right with the world as we know it; can we give the uber-coverage a rest already?
  17. Since there's enough injuries, an update is worthwhile as the Bulldogs head into their final games of the year. Unfortunately, I don't have all the injury notes as to who missed with what as I missed a few games down the stretch but here's what I was able to dig up: G Curtis Sanford (ankle), out until likely the 2nd round at the earliest; F Max Pacioretty (shoulder), out indefinitely, for the remainder of the regular season at least; F Eric Neilson (back), out indefinitely; D Mathieu Carle (shoulder?), out until at least the 3rd round at the earliest; F Ryan Russell (?), cleared to play, status for the weekend games unknown; D/F Chad Anderson (?), cleared to play, status for the weekend games unknown (not on Clear Day roster anyways). Expect some healthy scratches the next couple of nights including both Desharnais and Trotter who are in a tight competition for the highest scoring single season in franchise history.
  18. Not to try and spark a big coaching debate here, but one of the appealing attributes (to most at least) about Martin going into this season was that he finally broke the streak of rookie head coaches with the Habs. 1 year later, do we want to re-start that trend? I'm not saying I would or wouldn't one way or the other but I haven't seen that topic bandied about all that much. Also, I remain skeptical that Molson will pay 3 NHL head coaches at the same time; I wouldn't get my hopes up hoping for a coaching change unless Boucher moving up as an assistant next season is good enough. They are over the cap and have 1 allowable callup remaining under the CBA...in other words, we're going in with what we have now...now let us all cringe thinking about that and hope the Flyers take care of business tonight.
  19. The Habs lost in my last GDT which is why I laid off (that and I was in class most of the day without computer access)...glad to see you put the Toronto one up already.
  20. That would be nice but Martin has already said even if we clinch, we won't be resting anyone (probably because even if we clinch tonight, we'll still be jockeying for position come Saturday).
  21. On the one hand, this isn't much of a surprise when you consider the depleted lineups the Bulldogs have had at times this year but it is a surprise when Hershey set a league record for wins this year - granted, they have more 'name talent' but breaking the all-time wins record says something. Kudos to Boucher; I wasn't a big fan of letting Lever/Wilson go but he has won me over. More details
  22. Habs are reportedly interested in free agent goalie Jussi Rynnas (4th paragraph). http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sports/Finn...8063/story.html
  23. Bulldogs lose 2-1 with Maxime Lacroix scoring his first career AHL goal. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1007170
  24. The good news: Washington beat Boston. The bad news: They needed OT to do it. B's are one point back of the Habs now, both teams with 3 games to go.
