Welcome to the board JB. I for one do not want to see Tinordi in a Bruins jersey. I do think he is good enough to come in and take Gilberts job. However he gets yanked as soon as he makes a mistake. Habs cant get much in a trade for a guy they have cut from team over and over and over. Heck they are playing Gilbert ahead of him. Try trade that ! I say keep him and go the late bloomer route.
-
Or hoping for a trade to enhance his own development ,,,,,,,,,on an NHL team he can make.
-
Dont think there is a semin lover on the planet.
-
Semin was better than i thought he would be. But MT always needs somebody to yank in and outta the line up. White is gone. NB has made the team. Tiny has not been in. Semin gets the role. ha!
-
Carolina had him eating hot dogs. MT has him playing with Chucky and Eller. Gee thanks coach.
-
Oh i know he rolled the dice on cheap gambles. Just adding to the comments that everybody and their brother said Semin was no gamble.....that he was a guaranteed flop. Nice of MT to put the cheap gamble with Chucky and Lars. I'm sure they appreciated it. At least he scratched him after ten. Personally I did not expect anything from Semin, but I have to admit he was better than I thought he would be. I heard one theory that Kassian wont get another shot?

No argument here........knowing something stinks and commenting on it is not "arguing". But you make a great case for why the league has no fear of implementing gimmicks............... BTW....... Last time I checked they are trying to GET RID of or at least cut down on the shoot out. 10 years from now instead of the goofy shoot out may be it's the goofy three on three that everyone (including the league suits) get sick of. This is the NHL after all. Matter of fact I predict that three on three format that is already getting panned (by fans and players) will be altered or scrapped in the not too distant future. -

three on three is better than the shoot out four on four is better than the shoot out 2 on 2 is better than the shoot out a tie is better than the shoot out a cold hot dog with mustard is better than the shoot out it aint hard to beat "a shoot out" in hockey -
except MB liked his chances, and MT put him with Chucky ??

"traditional fans will continue to spend while complaining" I was only saying this traditional fan does not. Just speaking for me. I'll let you continue to speak for "they" Still don't change the fact the shoot out and three on three is "not hockey" .............. just ask Buff and Karlsson. love the honesty -

Been to countless play off games in Montreal. Stanley Cup finals. Too many games to count in Toronto and Buffalo. Been to the Joe many times. Stopped going 15 years ago. Went to one leafs hab game a few years ago because a leaf fan buddy bought me tickets for christmas and he was pumped to attend. Now I didn't stop going because of the shoot outs, (and dare to say nobody started going because of the shoot outs) Me and a lot of my buddies stopped going because there are far too many yawners, prices are laughable for a pair of seats, big screen tv's, center ice package where I can watch 12 games at a time. All from my living room for pocket change. Been told lots of fans use the shoot out to exit the building quicker. When are they bringing back the blue fox track on the puck? !! LOL In keeping with "catering to new fans" -

I seriously doubt having shoot outs and three on threes have increased ticket sales or the amount of tv viewers. Especially when most fans are heard cutting them up. -

Dont care what the reason is........... its stupid. Degrades the game. If tv audiences wanted to see a monkey in net after 60 minutes would we do that too? Hey it would entertain and its only regular season. , Why not two on two? -

Have not liked three on three. Gimmick. Looks like something out of the all star game , meant for joking around. Karlsson and Buff spoke up calling it "not hockey" "a joke" . Word is most of the players agree them. NHL put it in to cut down gimmick shoot outs. In a few years they will put something else in to get rid of gimmick three on three's. Tough loss for Habs, but I watched a tie hockey game....with a goofy little show after 60. I What isn't ? -

Anderson (and Price) are very good at it. Bad challenge call. -

Like the way the Habs played against Jets and Blues. Hope they play that game tonight.
