White has certainly earned his spot in the lineup but Im not as solid on Pyatt's contributions. I definitely think he should be the first to be sent back down.

The more games I watch the more I realize that the goal of this team should be to get to mid season playing 500 hockey and then hope that Markov's return will spark the team to a strong finish.

I'm still farily new to Ottawa, but it does seem like there is an overall level of pessimism about the whole thing. But if they're knocking down the stadium and completely redesigning the park it seems likely to suceed no? My only thought being that in relation to the rest of the city having the major arena/stadium located in the Glebe is probably not the greatest idea.

Looks like the CFL is heading back to Ottawa. Redevlopment plan for Landsdowne Park was approved by city council yesterday. Likely target date is having the team play in the 2013 season.

I just watched last week's episode last night and I have to agree, in general it held my interest a lot less than previous ones. Hopefully they can pick up the pace more. I'm much more interested in the mystery and intrigue of the investigation as opposed to the weird Olivia-Lloyd-Mark story.

I don't live in Quebec but as a politico I'm extremely interested in hearing the thoughts of quebec residents on today's ruling making it necessary for the province to provide residents access to english language schools. Eric Engels seems to think it will have a positive affect on potential UFA signings in Montreal in the future.

apparently Sergei has been suspended again by the team. he reportedly left Hamilton yesterday with all of his belongings.

problem is that D'agostini needs to clear waivers (which he wont) and I certainly don't want to lose him for nothing. To me he's an offensive winger and his value is best used on an offensive line, not as a grinder which is how he's being utilized now.

two guys i was impressed with last night: D'Agostini and Chipchura. i would love to see D'ags get another shot on the 2nd line. he was strong on the puck all night and has the speed to keep up with Pleks and Kostitsyn. Chipchura looked great on the PK, maybe there is a role on this team for him after all.

crazy what a difference a few games makes. A month ago how many of you were encouraging Gainey to dump Plekanec because he was useless, small, weak, invisible in the playoffs, etc.
