Boisclair to remain at PQ's helm

Parti Québécois Leader André Boisclair will remain at the party's helm, saying he takes responsibility for the result that has delegated the former powerhouse to third-party status.

“The Parti Québécois remains a party with deep roots in the region and maintains support in the major cities,” Mr. Boisclair said on Tuesday afternoon.

“I showed courage during the election campaign. I still have a lot to show yet.”

Nonsense, the "status quo" has traditionally meant in Quebec to be the PLQ versus the Federal government which has led to "no change" for what the Pequistes see as what needs to improve.

Mr Boisclair, in this case this is a different type of "status quo" and that "no change" in this particular case involves YOU!

What is a "PQ status quo"? Referendums!

That's the "status quo" being dumped!

He's attempting to deflect the issue.
