smon
http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/story/2007...suspension.html Sean Hill's Stanley Cup playoffs came to a sudden stop Friday when the NHL suspended the New York Islanders defenceman for 20 games for substance abuse. The punishment will take effect immediately, so Hill will miss Game 5 of an Eastern Conference quarter-final in Buffalo against the Sabres Friday night. Wasn't revealed what he tested positive for - but he's the first player to be caught by the NHL's testing program.
Pierre the Great
not enough should be half a season
Tony
Well if Hill turns UFA he better sign for dirt cheap. I know I wouldn't want to sign someone who has to wait out dozen of suspended games to a huge or longterm deal.
JMMR
I like the 20 games I think it is fair. I thought Berard also got suspended?
Trizzak
First offense 20 games? I think that is fair.
