Should we try to land a defenceman as our first pick? Or a powerhouse? In Europe we have: Johan Fransson, Luleå. ( I think this guy could be a new Mattias Öhlund) Ladislav Smid, Liberec ( A big czech born player. Don't know that much about him. But he is big.) Kiril Lyamin, CSKA ( I have seen him once. Otherwise teams could choose not to perform a year when a super prospect like Mario Lemieux is comming. And to prevent that the need the lottery system.
