2004-2005 NHL Schedule to be released 7/14/2004

So the NHL website says it will be released tomorrow at 3:00pm ET, huh?

Normally I would be waiting in anticipation for the release of the schedule, planning my annual trip to Montreal. But since a lockout is more and more likely, I can't help but be pissed off about it! :nono:

Anyone else have mixed feelings about this?

No, I look forward to the schedule being released, its fun to look through it and find the tough and easy parts of the schedule, look at the back to back games and so on. But I live in Montreal, so this schedule doesnt really ruin any of my trip plans.

Habs better visit Columbus this season. So far, in 4 seasons the Habs have only come here once, so I've only been able to see the Habs play once.

Why not take a trip to Pittsburgh?

Ditto for me. The Habs were in Denver 2 years ago (that entertaining 7-6 OT game in December) but that's been their only visit since I've lived out here. Every time I go back to NY to visit in the winter, they're on a road trip. Grrrrrr.

Cool, but what's up with the goofy schedule makers? December looks like ass...3 home games and 9 road games? And they aren't easy teams, either. Then you've got Feb, with 11 home games and 3 road games. That's literally a game every other day (including 8 games in 12 days. Yikes)

Oh well, at least they come to Denver this year. I guess I know what I'll be doing on Jan 19th, as long as there's a season!
