Leafs Suck
I'd like to see a few things 1) Canada kick the crap outta the Ruskies 2) The winner be scored on the PP thanks to a diving penalty 3) Ovechkin, Malkin and all the other Darcy Tucker-wannabes held scoreless 4) Phaneuf to knock one of the divers out of the game with a clean HARD hit
Fanpuck33_
Darcy Tucker, how I'd love to have him back in a Habs jersey.

Leafs Suck
Russians diving is sickening. Dunno where the IIHF finds these officals, but this guy has called some horrible penalties already and I guarnatee he's not done.

Leafs Suck
Tournament All-Star HAS TO BE: G-Glass, CAN D-Phaneuf, CAN D-Smid, CZE F-Carter, CAN F-Bergeron, CAN F-Ovechkin, RUS Top goalie, Glass Top Dman, Phaneuf and top forward Carter And the MVP should be Carter, but it wouldn't shock me if Phaneuf got it. puck7x
The only way Canada can lose gold now is if a huge brawl breaks out at the end of the game between the 2 teams, and the gold is defaulted to Czech's.... Keep your cool Canada... Keep them on the scoreboard, and beat the crap out of them with clean checks
Leafs Suck
Yeah, 1987 all over again. It won't happen. This team is extremley well coached and has a lot of disipline.

Everytime a Canadian player has been illegally-sticked or hit, they've just brushed it off and given the offending player a blank stare... And then just beat them on the scoreboard. Its great. Leafs Suck
Call me the ugly Canadian, but when this game is over (barrying a New York Yankees like collapse) this team SHOULD go down as the greatest in the history of the tournament. Leafs Suck
THE GOOD -The whole Canadian team. Start to finish. The greatest team in WJC history. -Anthony Stewart, grew up in the ghetto, raised by smart habs fans who taught him to follow a real team. -Sidney Crosby, critizied by jackass Don Cherry, now proves he is a world class player -Braydon Coburn, redemption after Fleury shot the winner off him and in last year -The Sutter family THE BAD -The Great Ego holding a press conference. His ego-driven crap is getting tiresome. -TSN's constant ass-kissing of The Great Ego. -Pierre McGuire, who needs to shut up once in a while -Al Montoya, premadona who thought he was the second coming of Patrick Roy, now looks like another NYR bust. THE UGLY -The whole Russian team. From diving, to stick work, to pompus celebrations. Truly a disgrace to hockey. -Nutjob O'Sullivan's cheap shot on some Russian -USA's lack of sportsmanship and respect -American referee who did a horrible job calling this game
puck7x
Finally Gold... Its been a long wait. Did you see how thrilled/excited team Canada was when the game ended? big celebrations.
dlbalr
Originally posted by Leafs SuckTHE UGLY -Nutjob O'Sullivan's cheap shot on some Russian In case you were wondering who that player was, it was Alexei Emelin, a Canadiens prospect to boot. I watched the end of that game earlier today, and I was horrified with that shot. Glad to see he was OK though, in fact, he scored the lone goal tonight. Congrats to Team Canada, they deserved the win, and it seems only fitting that it was in a blowout fashion.
puck7x
Canada owns hockey Current Mens World Champions? - Check! Current Womens World Champions? - Check! Current Mens Olympic Champions? - Check! Current Womens Olympics Champions? - Check! Current Mens World Cup Champions? - Check! Current World Junior Champions? - Check! Ever since losing to the Czech's in 1998, and then winning gold in 2002 (Salt Lake) Canada has been on a complete rampage of the hockey world, they've won everything that matters. Canada NEVER trailed in this entire World Junior Tournament... They only allowed 1 even-strenght goal, and just 7 overall while scoring something like 41 Awesome.
