mineral
RDS says that Stejskal was just taken off on a stretcher. Apparently victim of a pretty vicious hit.
dlbalr
RDS says that Stejskal was just taken off on a stretcher. Apparently victim of a pretty vicious hit. Yep, though apparently he's fine. Sadly, the same can't be said for the Bulldogs as the front line is really struggling out there (Nattinen is -3, Willsie/Trotter -2 each). It's 3-0 Griffins after 2. dlbalr
The Stejskal play was a double whammy for the Bulldogs. Not only are they down to 5 d-men (and when you consider FitzGerald can't go 4 shifts without taking a penalty, they're really down to 4.5) but Grand Rapids scored on Hamilton's 5 minute powerplay. That same player (Conner), scored a shorty in the 2nd as well. So much for the vaunted Bulldog PP.
BlueKross
I don't know if you have noticed, but Callahan was on ice for 6 of the last nine goals. We would expect that for a rookie like Nattinen, but a vet?
miklin
good points & I noticed on the Dog's facebook sight that discounted ticket vouchers are no longer available at the city's major arenas like the 4 Plex. The all you can eat promo was last night and advertising it two days before it occurs is just too late to be meaningful and have any bearing on attendance
