To get a better draft pick so that the team can have a really good prospect who likely won't make his debut in the habs unifrom until well after most of this current roster is already gone......it just doesn't make sense. If the Habs were to tank then Gauthier would have had to trade 1/2 of the team and call up a series of kids.....but he didn't so now the guys are just playing stress free hockey out there. Trading Gill and AK and having Gionta and Moen out on long term injuries at the deadline seem to be a nice set up for a tank. I mean compare Campoli and Staubitz to those two traded guys and thats a big minus in the roster. Plus with the injuries to Gomer, Moen, Gionta and a couple others... you see Geoffrion, Palushaj and Leblanc even Engqvist for a bit in the roster. Looks like a bit of a set up for a tank to me...
