DON
Do you know if Ellis is improved this year or still 3rd pairing at best? Pateryn with 3 of 10 shots, must still be best performing d-man on team?

dlbalr
Speak of the devil, Ellis has the lone goal for Hamilton through 2. Unfortunately the Amerks added a pair in the 2nd, it's 3-1.
dlbalr
Thomas scores early into the 3rd to get it back to within 1. That's his second point of the night.
DON
Martin Lapoint had some candid comments on LL and Pateryn.
dlbalr
6-3 was the final for Rochester, Tokarski didn't have a game to remember. St. Pierre had the other Hamilton goal; Thomas had a 3 point night and now has 6 points in 6 games on the year. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1011384
DON
Great to see Thomas producing after lay off. Announcer was saying Ellis has looked great lately. Lapointe basically said he wants to see Pateryn and Leblanc finish their hits, be more aggressive, win puck battles and to defend better. He said Nystrom wasn't ready for physicality of AHL and maybe KHL time will be good for him. Nygren was homesick and home he went and the -9 was not a good sign anyways.
