dlbalr
Tonight is a big game at the FirstOntario Centre. The winner of the Bulldogs (23-25-1-4) and the Monsters (23-25-0-5) gets the satisfaction of moving out of the 4-way tie for last in the West. That's...something. With Tokarski out, Mayer gets the nod while Mike Condon is up from Wheeling and will be the backup. Hopefully he gets a game or two if Tokarski's going to be up for a bit. Projected Lake Erie Lines:(based on +/- data from last game) Agozzino - Sgarbossa - Meurs Carey - Malone - Wyman Schumacher - Smith - Desbiens Cheek - Heard - Soudek Elliott - Beaupre Hunwick - Stollery Clark - Siemens Pickard Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Fournier Courtnall - Nattinen - Holland Beaulieu - Pateryn Chouinard - Ellis McIver - SchiestelMayer Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. dlbalr
Pateryn scores to give Hamilton the lead. That's his 10th of the year.
DON
Sounds like Beaulieu active and playing better in this one. The choice of Tinordi likely dosent sit too well with him. Would like to see Pateryn get a crack with big club sometime this spring.

Maybe they're waiting for him to have as many goals as the rest of the blueline combined? He's getting there. Pateryn has 10, the rest a total of 13. Pateryn has 10, the rest a total of 13. But he was called up for a while and no icetime? Why didn't they run him out 1 game instead of Boullion/Murray, maybe he is already penciled in to mentor Bennett-Thrower-Dietz next fall and really is 9th/10th in depth chart? I think they picked him for a bit since he didn't cost as much on the cap. That was around the time where they were making the daily recall/demotion and going in and out of LTIR daily. Call it a financial reward of sorts. He has earned a real look though.

dlbalr
Winning in a shootout, there's something we haven't seen often. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1011917
miklin
-started off really oddly. The choir of college students did an absolutely horrible job on the Cdn Anthem. They changed it to sound like a funeral dirge. The end of period siren went off twice in the first period while play was on. Referee Darcy Burchell got a puck in the beak and had to leave the game with 2 1/2 minutes left in the period so the two linesmen did everything up to the end of the period. I had mentioned to Brian previously re a couple of people being let go at the Copps. The catering manager employed by Compass is back but he now has to look after the "Aud" in Kitchener as well as the Copps.
