dlbalr
Before the main course of Habs vs Leafs, enjoy the appetizer of the Bulldogs (24-25-1-4) and the Marlies (32-17-2-2). If memory serves me right, whenever the NHL and AHL teams both play each other on the same day, it usually doesn't end well for Montreal fans. Here's hoping that changes this time. Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Macenauer - Thomas Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Fournier Courtnall - Nattinen - Holland Beaulieu - Pateryn Chouinard - Ellis McIver - SchiestelMayer Projected Toronto Lines:(based on +/- data from previous games/straight up guesses) D'Amigo - McKegg - Abbott Leivo - Carrick - Ashton Duco - Ryan - Kozun Devane - Smithson - Staubitz Brennan - Marshall Holzer - MacWilliam Percy - Granberg MacIntyre Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. DON
Pateryn knucklepuck shot which Blunden puts in. 2-1 Dogs and Dumont/Blunden with 2nd points of game Swiss Kid strikes again 3-1 Dogs.
dlbalr
3-2 now as D'Amigo scores. Still, it's nice to see them up late in the 2nd.
dlbalr
Hamilton gets a big opportunity as Jerred Smithson gets a match penalty for a check to the head. Pateryn was the one hit but he's okay it appears.
DON
Yes, very good to hear #2 is back on the ice and not hurt. +3, 2a and 4 shots for him, so far today. Courtnall scores 2.4seconds left in 2nd and 4-
dlbalr
Courtnall scores 2.4seconds left in 2nd and 4-2 That's a big goal considering they didn't capitalize on the PP.
DON
5-2 dogs Blunden or LL scores, start of 3rd period and poor LL gets tackled, maybe broke his nose again?
miklin
they survived the head hunting rather well. One referee game is hard to explain. Not sure if a lot of the other officials auditioning earlier in the season didn't make the cut or what. Ironic that they have played well without Tinordi......................
