DON
Well..... down 0-1 6minutes in. Sven ties it up less than 2minutes later! sweet. good to see Dietz chip-in, still looking for first pro goal, but 2a now this year and only had 5a in the 1/2 season he played last year. DON
Hudon scores, cool, 2-1 Dogs, Bournival with 2a in 1st period so far. Gave up SH goal and 2-2,near end of 1st. Condon must look like the frazzled lil French goalie in slapshot. With 17 shots against in the 1st.
DON
Lucky bounce and 2-3 PP goal 2-4 now
dlbalr
Bournival with 2a in 1st period so far. 4 points in 4 games for him now. It's nice to see he still has some offensive touch.

dlbalr
trend of winning on the road and more or less sucking at home continues Poor Condon - he needs some support from the team too...
dlbalr
4-2 San Antonio is the final. They play again Sunday at 3 (and no, I'm not doing another GDT for it, we'll just use this one). Tough end for Beaulieu who gets 9 PIMS in the 3rd for a fight and an attempted spear. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1013540
miklin
Condon should be suing for non support. D was just plain bad. I won't miss Beaulieu personally. We seem to have penalty problem when referee Jamie Koharski works alone. Pateryn got a roughing penalty, was mugged by three San Antonio players and guess who got the only penalty. Not sure why all the single referee games. Perhaps not enough Talent to go around. Heard the post game show and heard poor Matt running out of voice with each goal call. Interesting that Jason Ward was doing colour. Was there any mention why? Oh well, first regulation loss. BTW-I thought there were supposed to be calls made for these fake head jerks by players to try and get a penalty call. Noticed Mancardi doing it twice tonight and nada from Jamie

What exactly happened with Beaulieu in that third period? A double minor for attempted spearing is a pretty rare call...
DON
Crisp/Nevins draw in! Bennett also. Hudon-ANdrighetto-Thomas on a line
DON
Nygren-Bennett on point 1st PP, Dietz-Pateryn on next. No surprise, now 0-1 on PP Yee-Haw Nevins with fight in 2nd shift. I think is 1fight/game in 4 pro games Nice that he filled in Shane O Brian.
dlbalr
I'm a bit surprised Tangradi is a scratch - or is he hurt?
DON
Maybe just was another bad player yesterday and they really wanted to shake tings up?
DON
Well only gave up 8 shots, better, but still down 0-
DON
Hey hey hey, top line scores 1-1 Thomas scores. Hudon hit from behind and trainer called out onto ice..no good! 5minute major penalty (boarding game misconduct).... wanna bet they wont score for next 5minutes?? Well SH break and Dietz called for tripping, seconds into major and off the face-off Dogs now down 1-2. Maybe 2 minutes later, 2 on 1 and Bennett/Macdonald not good enough, quickly down 1-3. miklin
pretty discouraging-I know it's early but I can't blame referee Dave Lewis. He gave us the chances and we continually shot ourselves in the foot. Defense resembled the Keystone Copps running around. PP's useless if you can't win a faceoff. Once again, San Antoinio coach giving his guys hell with a two goal lead while Sly stands there like Budha. I worry too that the place is badly overstaffed for crowds of 2500. The ushers can be pleasant as possible to enhance the game experience but there is no getting away from the fact the local parking lots have gone from $5.00 to $10.00 in one season, the $5.00 program is poor, the food overpriced, and the team 50/50 is now one ticket for $5.00. One ticket used to be $2.00 or three for $5.00. I think this is going to bite them in the behind. A friend who used to look after this for a Jr team said folks don't mind shelling out a twoonie, but will balk at $5.00. Maybe a home win would help-our next home game is a school day one with 10,000 screaming kids-oh joy And the damn water fountains that were removed 7 years ago are still missing. Bottled water conspiracy anyone???
dlbalr
And the damn water fountains that were removed 7 years ago are still missing. Bottled water conspiracy anyone??? I sense a good sign opportunity to voice your displeasure... What will come first, water fountains or a competent powerplay? How many more years must we wait? That might draw some attention...though be sure to make it sound funnier than that; humour is not my strong suit.
