DON
holy crap, is one early game and maybe a different Dog team has showd up for home fans? Hope they pile it on with lots of offense for the kiddies.
dlbalr
Hope they pile it on with lots of offense for the kiddies. They generally don't get a whole lot of offence (or wins) in these games but they were the much better team in the 1st.

dlbalr
6-0 after 2. Given that these are division rivals that just played last week, this could be a particularly rough third period.
dlbalr
So the third period wasn't so rough after all. Rochester scored early to break the shutout but they only scored that one goal as the Bulldogs take it 6-1. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1013597

miklin
Carr was great. Got his nose broken early-got a full shield and came back out and kept on hustling. My hearing is just coming back. They set aside one section for us STH's who could attend (bar was closed unfortunately. No 50/50-would have like to have relieved a few kids of their lunch money-lol.) Quite the logistics job by the staff considering the number of buses involved. Unfortunately some kids missed the entire first period and then had to leave with five minutes to go. At least they saw a good game-the last five or so were stinkers
