He's not only leading the league but also leading all rookies in scoring (or close to it). I've heard comparisons to Tomas Plekanec when it comes to him. Does he seem like could end up the real deal? dlbalr Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 I could see him sliding in on the 3rd line wing in a two-way role in the not-too-distant future, whether that's next year or next month if he keeps up this pace. I had him as a decent contender to make the team out of camp though (ahead of everyone not named Sekac) so I might be a bit biased though. Is he the next Plekanec? That seems rather lofty.
