DON
GHG (hudon not habs)! Be nice to see Thomas step it up a bit, only 2 goals last 8 games.
DON
7-d once again, poor Crispy!
dlbalr
7-d once again, poor Crispy! This is where not having forward depth in Wheeling hurts. They have 4 d-men down there but no forwards. If they had a forward or two signed, they could send Crisp down for playing time for a bit and have a minor league depth guy sit on the bench. I'm still holding out hope that there's an Ellis for a forward deal on the horizon at some point.
DON
Hudon-Sorkin-Bournival sounds like nice line. But safe to say Hudon and Bournival would do well with anyone on line with them.
DON
Well not so good a start, down 0-1 after a PP goal against
dlbalr
Shots were a little lopsided in the 1st - 18-8 for Texas.
DON
678games and just 20 shootouts (2.9% so far this year, vs 7.8% last year) (my math may be bit off but seems correct) with new OT format, nice change and still 20 too many shootouts, should just live with odd tie. . dlbalr
Still 1-0 after 2. The Bulldogs are starting to show signs of life at least.
DON
Sound like another inspired Home effort! Crowd must be nodding off also. Dogs PP following Habs trend way too closely, total crap for long time, OK for a week or so and now both costly by firing blanks once again. DON
Well well, tied it up late and off to OT.
DON
exciting OT but Dogs lose
dlbalr
That's one more point than it looked like they were going to get early on. 3 points out of 6 against teams behind them in the standings...not great but not terrible. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1013801
miklin
agreed -and three games in less than 24 hrs each (7:30, 5:00, 3:00) is tough. Stars had yesterday off. JMO but Thomas has to start picking it up. Interesting that the winning goal was at 5:04 of OT-which would not have been doable last season. They were still 4 on 4 as they had gone a long time without a whistle. The rink announcer announces the 3 minute mark meaning 3 on 3 as soon as there is a whistle. Still frustrating though is the number of home wins without OT. Got to build up some more home wins to try and interest anyone but Marlie fans ps-Condon appeared to be injured when run over in OT but no call. Didn't come out for his first star award
DON
Mike Have Beaulieu or Tinordi stood out to you? Have you noticed Bennett's play, he seems to be off to a good start for rookie but has been scratched by Lefebvre? de la Rose's play?
