dlbalr
The playoff push...or the push to simply end this losing streak continues tonight and Saturday as the Bulldogs (32-27-12-0) travel to Texas for a pair of games against the Stars (36-21-13-1). Going into play today, Hamilton is 10th in the conference. Toronto is one point ahead of them for 9th with a game in hand while Milwaukee sits 8th, three points ahead of the Bulldogs. However, Hamilton has two games in hand on them which is really the only reason they're not completely dead in the water yet. dlbalr
Bozon not dressing eh? There's no lineup news yet so I just kept last game's lines in there for now.
DON
Crisp is in today. Bozon?
dlbalr
Crisp is in today. Bozon? Doesn't look like it. Crisp for Fournier seems to be the only change up front (Bennett's back in for Allen on the blueline).
DON
Lefebvre asked about Bozon (yesterday I think), he seemed to beat around bush, but said Bozon should still know the system from training camp and will get a headstart on next season at least. Didn't hear him say whether he would/wouldnt dress right away?
dlbalr
I'd have to think they'd give him a couple of games at least. As Lefebvre said though, even just practicing will be useful for next season. Looks like the lines have changed again based on the starting lineups... DON
Texas 2x, Ok City, then Monsters 2x of the 10 points how many will they likely need to climb into 8th...8? So Lernout made to look like a pylon for 1st time as a pro. Is he a quick learner?
DON
1-1 mid 1st period. they said tipped shot, 5-hole on Condon.

I'd think 8 at least if not more. The Marlies are going to get a boost after tomorrow with the Leafs being done so it's likely they're going to go on a bit of a run to finish. dlbalr
Shots are 12-3 Texas so far in the 2nd. I really don't trust this defence corps to hold down the fort; Condon's going to need to stay sharp. And naturally as I type that, they tie it up. dlbalr
They pulled it off. After coughing up an early one in the 3rd, McNally tied it up and then Sorkin added his second of the night. Hamilton wins 4-3. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1014532 The Marlies won and Milwaukee lost. Toronto is now the 8th seed and the Admirals are 9th. DON
4-3 win McNally & Sorkin score in the 3rd 41 saves for Condon 4 more to go.
dlbalr
Going into yesterday's game, the playoff odds were down to 13.6%. With the win (and the other out-of-town games), it should be up around 19-20% going into tonight's contests. Going 4-1 in the final 5 games (including yesterday) only has Hamilton around a little less than a 50/50 shot at making it. They can maybe afford one OT/SO loss but that's about it.
