dlbalr
The 6 game road trip comes to an end tonight as the IceCaps (12-5-6) travel to Binghamton to take on the Baby Sens (5-13-2). St. John's will be looking to extend their point streak to 11 straight games. This will be Jarred Tinordi's final game on his conditioning stint and will likely be the last game for Tokarski before getting recalled to rejoin Montreal. Michael Bournival didn't play yesterday and it's not known if he'll be available tonight. This could be a particularly rough affair as the Senators lead the league in PIMS by a considerable margin, averaging 24.55 per game. Hudon - McCarron - Holloway McNally - Dumont - Gregoire Miceli - MacMillan - Fournier Neilson - Pither Barberio - Ellis Tinordi - Dietz Hanley - Lernout Didier Tokarski (Based on previous +/- data.) Puempel - Dzingel - Schneider Robinson - Paul - McCormick Greening - Ewanyk - Flanagan Dav. Dziurzynski - Dar. Dziurzynski - Stortini Carlisle - Kostka Harpur - Mullen Claesson - Tuzzolino O'Connor Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST. AM 930 has the call. DON
Early PP, Stortini takes a penalty. Don't see Bournival listed for the game, going with 7-d again. Mark MacMIllan (2) scores on garbage goal at 4:14 and up 1-0!
DON
Now is 1-1.
DON
Gregoire drops the gloves in a good fight...he is gritty for sure.
DON
10 shots with 6:00 minutes to go! much better.
DON
McCarron dropped a guy with one punch, he went for repairs and both just got 2 minutes roughing.
dlbalr
Bozon's the scratch up front tonight to get Neilson in. Normally I wouldn't like Neilson playing but given Binghamton's lineup, it's understandable.
DON
2-1Senators, near end 2nd.

DON
McCarron in "big tilt" and lands couple big punches at the end for the decision.
dlbalr
Binghamton gets the empty netter, 4-1 the final. This was the one 'gimme game' of the road trip and that's the one they lose in regulation to snap the point streak. Funny how that works sometimes... Oh well, still a pretty good road trip altogether, I'm not going to complain about a 3-1-2 record with the lineup they had.
Guest Stogey24
McCarron in "big tilt" and lands couple big punches at the end for the decision. God damn! McCarron just rag dolls buddy at the endHe's a way different fighter than Tinordi. Uses his size to his advantage and doesn't just throw heavies the whole time. DON
He seems to of cooled off in offense lately (has been a good screen on couple goals), hopefully in 4 game homestand before X-mas he will chip in.

That line was quiet all week. It's not all that surprising either as it was the only decent line they had. Dumont had rookies (or Fournier who isn't any better) with him on what was technically a second line but realistically, all the opposition had to do was shut down McCarron's trio so I imagine they drew all the tough assignments.
