DON
Fucale #1 star stopped 44 of 46 shots (20 of 21 in 3rd period), one goal against fluky bounce, other was a garbage goal banged in. MacMillan had nice goal, 4 of 6 pts recorded by the d-men, 4 of 6 pts were by rookies and Didier with 2a is big surprise but nice to see. dlbalr
One surprise absence last night was de la Rose. I'm guessing he's banged up again? I can't see them scratching him...
dlbalr
Lineup changes for tonight: - Pasquale starts in place of Fucale - Lessio in for Neilson. Lessio will be on the front line bumping Miceli back to the 4th. Still no de la Rose.
dlbalr
Despite yet another poor defensive outing thus far (par for the course, really), the IceCaps are up 4-1 in the 3rd. Goals by McCarron (2), Miceli, and Hanley; Lessio has an assist.
dlbalr
McCarron gets the hat trick, 5-1 IceCaps is the final. Nice way to head into a very long break... http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1015067 The shots in the final two periods were 39-11 for Albany (46-23 overall). St. John's outscored them 2-1 in those last 40 minutes.
DON
All three goals for McCarron were good ones in close, he is 3rd in rookie scoring. Bournival 1a, 3rd star and hit post short-handed, he is going well. Dietz had another terrible give away below red-line, but Pasquale was stopping everything. Didier drops the gloves again. Trying to redeem himself or had no choice?
Guest Stogey24
How'd didier do? Is McCarron becoming the real deal or what?
