Tony_
Hey people, Just wanted to report here what I saw on Sport 30 yesterday afternoon. They talked about the rumoured stuff inside the new CBA. On a quick note, I don't have a link for this info but I'm not inventing this stuff up either. -Salary cap is at 39 Mil. (which is quite high from previous rumoured reports). -Max player salary is 7.4 Mil. -Revenu sharing with the top 10 richest teams sharing with the top 10 poorest teams. -Player free agency eligible at 28 years old in 2008. I think there was some other stuff but this was all I could remember. I hope someone else saw this so I don't look crazy.
Fanpuck33_
According to the latest report, the cap will be between 37 and 39 million and a deal could be announced on Tuesday. Lockout May End on Day
Leafs Suck
We're getting reports from Toronto news that the deal has been reached. Nothing confirmed yet. BTW, what is our current up to date payroll? Like would we have to get rid of anyone? I imagine it wouldn't be alot, if it is one word. Briesbois.
Fanpuck33_
I made a fairly in-depth post in the "I Forget" thread. http://www.habsworld.net/forum/viewthread....tid=2637&page=
revvvrob
does anyone know what the penalty is for a team going over the cap?
simonus
i think a team is allowed to be like 10% over cap for something like 10 days. If they dont get themselves down i'd imagine whatever contract put them over is invalid.
