[Edited on 2005/10/28 by Rooster] Well, when you think to yourself in your head (e.g. "Oh, that was funny." "What's he doing?") is it in English or French? That's the eaisest way to tell. Also, do you speak English or French with your parents? Another way to tell. That doesn't quite work for me Bulis. I speak portuguese with my parents, english with one sister and her family and French with my other sister and her family. My girlfriend is French and my friends are really evenly split. As for language of "thought", it actually depends on what I am thinking about. If it's about something I lived/learned/experienced in a French setting, it will be in French. Same applies if it's in an English or Portuguese setting. I'm a walking tower of Babel. "I can't decide" which one I am is the most acurate.
