shortcat1
I cannot believe how penalties have been killing our team! I'm glad and satisfied that they are still being called but they're being called for a reason. There are certainly judgement errors on the part of the referees but those things usually balance themselves out over the course of a season. The only thing that bugs me is that our guys still get caught doing things too often. That doesn't mean 'don't get caught', it means 'don't do it!'. Also, it seems that often our team really struggles when Koivu is penalized. To me, that really indicates that he is very valuable on the penalty kill. I don't mind the fact that he gets penalized because he is a man who plays with lots of intensity and those things will happen. I wouldn't even ask him to cool it a bit. We more than benefit from his play than we do from the potential problems with his penalty taking. In any case... BE MORE CAREFUL GUYS! THE PENALTIES ARE KILLING US! :hlogo::ghg::hlogo: (four 3's... pretty good poker hand. Lots of stuff could beat it but it beats way more. ) [Edited on 2005/11/19 by shortcat1]
habsfan88
Caps are not a strong team, but lets not take them lightly at all. Keys to success tonight: 1. Shut down Ovechkin 2. PK step up!! 3. PP score goals!!
BTH
PP doesn't have to step up. It'll be easy enough to score on these guys. They're a 1 line team with a strong PP and that's all you have to worry about.
diehardhabsfan
Yep the Capitals are a weak team.:ghg:

Haboholic
1 more thing for the key to success is... the contribution from the 2nd line. higgins cant do everything on his own guys... i am such a 2nd line hater right now haha sorry guys
gohabsgo252006
I wouldn't be surprised to see Plex up on the first line for this one, after the switch last night, he was looking pretty good. I think we may see some major changes. IMO Plex Koivu Zednik Bulis Ribeiro Ryder Higgins Begin Sundstrom Dags Lapiere Zhogs On the bright side, IMO Sourray played his best game of the year last night (i know that doesn't say much) but hopefully it's a sign that he's coming around
BTH
Your lines look good but Higgins is looking good on the second line. I really want to see Bulis get a chance on a scoring line. This makes our bottom 2 lines lethal.
MAK
bulis couldn't do it on the first line, I don't see how he would fit with ribs and ryder. anyways, his speed will be much needed on the third line against ovechkin.
BTH
He's on the second line. Bulis would fit in because he tries where his linemates can get lazy and even when they put effort into it they're slow. He can get any line going, with his gamely breakaway. mathieug
8-Ovechkin, 25-Cassels, 17-Clark 18-Pettinger, 11-Halpern, 24-Willsie 27-Clymer, 16-Sutherby, 10-Bradley 43-Fleischmann, 21-Laich, 38-Klepis 19-Witt, 44-Eminger 6-Heward, 47-Muir 23-Majesky, 26-Morrisonn 1-Johnson*, 37-Kolzig *Let's hope they start Johnson. I saw him play earlier this season, yikes, ugly. He's 1-4 in 7 games, has a .851 Sv% and has a 5.34 goals against average. After sitting out four games with a hamstring injury, Olie Kolzig is expected to get the start. Dainius Zubrus & Jeff Friesen are day to day with a groin injury. Peat is out indefinitely with an upper body injury. Danis in net for our boys? Go Habs Go!
