=CH=
I NEVER thought I'd see the day Koivu would be booed while wearing a Habs jersey in Montreal. Mr. Gainey, I believe another rant to the media is in order. 1-1, Iginla. Winds up, blasts it. 30th of the season. 1st period is over. Shots 11-7 for Montreal. Toren
Rangers are beating the Islanders 4-1. We need the Rangers to win big time today. A win in our game and a Rangers win will square us up for 7th place.
puck7x
Yeah... Go Rangers? I never thought I'd say that... puck7x
2-1 Habs... Scored on 21st shot , habs playing pretty well , and we havent shown any signs of tanking it yet! Dagenais got the goal , went to the net hard and got the garbage of Ryder's shot. Even the biggest Dagenais's haters (looking at JLR) have to admin he's having an okay/good game , he's going to the net hard (Gauthier had to take him down one time) , he threw a big hit that knocked over Conroy , and he hasnt screwed up defensively yet. lol ... plus of course he scored a goal. puck7x
3-1 Habs after a Brisebois PP goal from Ryder and Markov... And Ryder is back into the rookie points lead with 43 , one ahead of Hunter's 42. 2nd is over , habs played one hell of a 2nd period , and thats after playing a half-decent 1st ... so far we've played hard for 40 minutes of the game... Now the key is the final 20... I just want a win! :ghg:
Spider-Man NL
3-1 :hlogo: at the end of 2 periods. :hlogo: are out shooting the Flames 24-11 :ghg:
=CH=
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the New York Rangers for showing up tonight. It's now 6-2 in the third period.
puck7x
Habs win 4-1... Dagenais with empty netter , finishes with 2 goals. Oh man , that win feels good , since we havent won is so damn long (felt like forever) , now we gain a bit of distance on the sabres and tie the Isles... Now lets keep the team effort going into the game vs Toronto.

habitual_hab
Good all around effort by the Habs - playing Julien's system... Hope they can turn the corner with this one...
jl.roberts
Okay, okay. Good on Dags for the 2 goals; but I still really, really don't like the guy. I mean, you've got a hardworking, team guy like Ward free to your right. He works his but off every night but has one goal to show for it. A real team guy would feed him the puck. Even if the d-man was in the way, all Dags needed to do was drag the puck around the Flame player and flip a backhand pass in front to Ward. ...It's nice to finally see victory again! Go :hlogo: Go And I'm all in favour of Garon vs. TO.

I think Dags could have passed to Ward if he did right away, but once he hesitated the 2nd guy had come back and had Ward covered. At the point shooting was the right play. But I definitely think he hesitated on purpose. He was thinking "I've just been sat down 2 games in a row, and I'm basically useless when I don't score... so I'll score two and tht should buy me a few more starts". "Ward is there for his grit and all-round play, he doesn't need it like I do... and he'll probably miss the net anyway". I didn't like it either... although it wasn't obvious enough to make Ward fuming mad about it. But it's still something you remember in the back of your mind as a player. I say play Garon until he loses, then another heavy dose of Theo in the final stretch. And for crying out loud, Juneau... please get season ending back surgery to fix your back. Bégin needs to stay on the 3rd line, Juneau simply isn't needed anymore. Not even the 4th line, Perreault is more useful there... so he can be used on faceoffs and the 2nd PP unit. We more than enough players who can play the PK. If Juneau could do like Savard in '93... dress in civies behind the bench and become an assitant coach of sorts for the rest of the year... that would be perfect.
