dlbalr
For the third game in a row, it will be a battle between the Bulldogs (22-17-6-0)...what's left of them...and the AHL's basement dwelling Wild (16-29-1-1). This time at least, it's in Hamilton. (So too is another matchup between these teams next week.) (based on +/- data from previous games) Mitchell - Graovac - Hagel (no, not the former Bulldog) Brassart - Phillips - Veilleux Keranen - Sutter - Bulmer Gregoire - Gabriel - Bussieres Blum - Falk Bickel - Sybret Gelinas - Gudbranson Kuemper Bowman - Hensick - Andrighetto Carr - Hudon - Macenauer Tangradi - Gill - Dowell Bakker - Fournier Tinordi - Drewiske Allen - Pateryn Bennett - Dietz Finley MacDonald Puck drop is at 7:30 PM; AM900 will have the play-by-play, click the banner below to listen. Machine of Loving Grace
Hudon is the best player in the AHL but he plays second line in Hamilton?
dlbalr
Hudon is the best player in the AHL but he plays second line in Hamilton? They split him and Hensick up to have two scoring lines. The line numbering is my guess based on the linemates. Jacob de la Rose was a full-time 3rd liner. I don't see them moving him to line 1 without giving him time on the 2nd hence my slotting that line as #2.
miklin
Nygren has left for Sweden again. Guess his year is over. Reported slow recovery from a concussion.

dlbalr
Tinordi starting and Condon in again. Maybe he was sick after all. Good that he's back, it saves them from using Makowski (for now at least).
DON
Nice to hear de la Rose even getting a bit of PP time.

dlbalr
Condon makes 37/38 saves and isn't one of the stars while Kuemper makes 27/29 and is. Either Hamilton had tons of great chances or that's the home selectors being just a tad biased. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1014103
DON
Yes I was gonna say Hensick 1st and Condon 2nd star and then maybe an Iowa guy (their goalie?)
dlbalr
Yes I was gonna say Hensick 1st and Condon 2nd star and then maybe an Iowa guy (their goalie?) That would have made more sense. MacDonald is expected to get the start this afternoon. It'll be his first start in nearly three weeks and only his third of the month. dlbalr
Good news, Tangradi is back for the Bulldogs today. They now have 12 healthy forwards (although 3 of them are ECHL-calibre).
DON
7-d again
dlbalr
7-d again Yeah, Fournier's out. Let's play the ECHL tryouts and sit the one actually contracted to the Canadiens. (Not that it matters much, Fournier and Bakker are both pretty useless.)

dlbalr
Any idea on the lines? I know the front line is Bowman-Hensick-Andrighetto but that's all I've got so far.
DON
No, not paying that close attention. Dogs have upcoming PP. 4 forwards on the PP CH-Bowman-Andrigh-Hensick-Pateryn
