Radulov and semin are not the same except for both being Russian! Radulov has never ever been known for taking shifts let alone games off... Please stop referencing them together cause they are not the same... Let's compare him to Kovalchuk instead because he just left money and term on the table to come to Montreal for 1 season... If radulov performs the way i suspect he will (which is a star caliber) his long term deal will probably be upwards of 7+ not 6 (3 years 21 million) Of course his performance this year will dictate his worth!

I'm expecting huge things from radulov... He has always been NHL star capable, just cause he went home to play for big money doesn't change that. Watching him at olympics... I thought this guy is Russia's best player! I think top 15 in NHL scoring if treated like a top line player all season!

weber right now is in a league of his own for his style of game... like i said closest player is chara and he's going on 40yrs and nobody else comes close.

im ok that he's out for 7 minutes if its in response to a cheap shot.... id rather see him out there then having everyone awkwardly look at each other and do nothing, or have nathan beaulieu get punched out cause he's the only guy willing to do something!!

Stage fighting and goon fighting is out of the game no doubt about that at all... But a freakin Mean SOB defence man who can crush you, with a check, isnt afraid to grab your head and head butt into the glass and will fight anyone who takes a cheap shot on his teammate while he's on the ice for virtually half a game he plays are worth diamonds... Did I mention they also avg more then 15+ goals a season... When you think about it... Who in the NHL is comparable to Shea Weber? Probably nobody except Chara of 2011 and before that Pronger... Am I missing someone?

i AM so anticipating this season... more so then in seasons past! this trade has really shaken all of Habsworld... Cant wait to see how it all plays out... but seriuosly everyone continues to be beating the same drum over and over again!! who does Carey Price prefer?? Cause i'm on his side!! Seems the majority of players and coaches and GM's would prefer Shea over PK. Its funny how Pk Subban was a constant goat in the media year after year about all that is bad and now the habs trade him and he is the darling of hockey defencemen... give me a break Toronto Sports Network etc. Price plays hockey in a month with his new BFF protecting him for 25+ minutes a game! Lets see why the players choose Shea as one of the very, elite... and lets see how subban does when the Price isn't Right.

i just dont think josi and him are going to play as well together as people think. i can see them being split quite earlier actually to take advantage of both of their puck moving abilities. How much more unleashing/ holding back can pk have? He carried the puck pretty much each rush... and he is not fast enough to go end to end and get back in time like karlsonn can so what does everyone expect is going to happen in nashville? art ross for PK? Therrien rode him all season in all situations.... im pretty sure he was un-leashed with of course the added "please be responsible out there as well, you know you are a defender first! play da right way!"

Interesting how Friedman said that he spoke to a habs player late last season after a game and the player said the GM and coach thought the team was soft both mentally and physically... Said team knew change was coming.... If you play sports it's amazing how one attitude one character can change the attitude of a whole team. I'm talking about how the presence of say Weber can make a whole line or at least beaulueu feel 3 inches taller for example

Don't get me wrong...I'm a fan of PK... But whats done is done... We need to move on now cause "dang it" Subban has! I think we've all said our piece and now its time to give this retooled group a chance. It can't be worse then what we we saw last season... Maybe Weber is exactly the player price and this team needs to get over that ECF hump and back to the biggest stage...

There is no way a trade of this magnitude wasn't run by the Executive* management team. Think about it in any work eniviroment and I'm sure who ever wasn't included would be pissed. Molson, MB, Dudley, MT, TT, maybe even Muller and Waite all were probably involved in some way or another.

-the habs are instant contenders for the eastern conference with price alone back and healthy!! the addition of arguably one of the top 5 best russian forwards on the planet in Radulov . Plus shaw brings even more energy and sand paper to our 3rd line. the emergence of galchenyuk to star status and weber playing a role in elevating nate to the top pair and markov to the 2nd pair (what we've all been asking for) can only do us good. - A BETTER POWER PLAY?? like how could it be worst! -weber will fill those heavy minutes of PK easily. Also note that weber forces teams to dump the puck in and chase it rather then skate it in. this also plays to our strengths as price is world class at handling dump ins and helping move it quickly and effieciently. -weber will assist in the staled progression of beaulieu* as a puck moving top pair defensemen and i believe he will thrive in a role next to weber. it will also facilitate markov to a diminished 2nd pair role with another greta skater in petry!!!! the habs better be ready to open up their wallets for beaulieau the year after next could you imagine though beaulieu* weber markov subban emelin petry wow!! lol
