Sutter number 2? Jim henson's kids must be the judges. -
I read an nhl.com article discussing how he changed goaltending. Young goalies watch him and try to mimick his efficiency of motion and demeanor. Even vets. The last Habs goalie to actually change the game was Roy. Plante before that. I want his number retired. Not honorary or whatever, but retired. One 80 point player in his entire career is a crazy stat.

Could be just trying to get him going. Hoffman is a vet who knew how to score. Big time. -

Pretty darn well. -
I think there are a lot of factors in this decision, so the best answer may not be an easy or popular one. Edmonson Harris ( Harris on his wrong side facing high end opposition) Matheson Savard Ghule Wideman (might be unpopular but the horrible pp may end up worse with him out of the line up) Schueneman waived first Xhekaj waived second (As CC says, there are just too many left defense) 26 is not waiver exempt and seems to be to good to lose on waivers right now.

Reggie leach represented his culture some in the 70s I believe.

Ah. I don't remember that.

.8 ppg player over 1200 games. He's hardly irrelevant. He's an extremely reliable secondary scorer over a massive sample size.
-
This is how I will always remember him. Not making the crazy Jonathan quick style save, but being perfectly positioned and so in tune to the play that he could steer pucks where he wanted. Steer it to Markov. Steer it to Subban. Don't like the look of a play, seer it over the glass. His technical ability and lateral movement were almost robotic in efficiency. Aside from the player we lose, there's also the person we lose. Maybe it's the small town bc connection. Of course we don't know him, but I feel like I know him. His support of first nations causes. His humility and what appears to be genuine honesty. I'm going to miss the person as much as I miss the player. It's a bit sad.

It will be a tough call between the 3. Harris is quietly efficient. Guhle has looked fantastic. Arber is making an impact without hurting the team. Send kovasayvich sic and Wideman down? -
Oof.

I thought slafkovsky played well tonight. Won a few battles. Seemed to be a good move to play him with Evans?? Ghule and Harris are NHL defenseman. 100% -

I saw that. Also Hoffman did the one handed flail. Wasn't a slash. Trash call. -

I've heard that he is less a system guy, and focuses more on patterns and trends. I read a quote somewhere that he wants you to play offense when you have the puck and defense when you don't. Regardless of what zone you're in. Don't wait till you're in your own zone to play defense. The second you lose the puck, you're on defense. He's an interesting guy so far. -
