Ya, I agree. don't forget guys that Lats was very good last year. In a 3rd line role. I would argue that Kosto, Lats, and Laps were the only consistent line last year. I for one am sad to see him go. I really hope that Benny grows a heart here, otherwise, all we did was lose our biggest hitter. Didn't Lats lead all forwards in hits last year? I guess it will be a wait and see thing. There does look to be some upside to benoit though.

well, now that andre is learning the system, he should be able to help sk. i believe the language barrier is affecting them. well i think it affect ak, sk actually understands english quite well from his interviews.

Lats was very good last year as a 3rd liner. He was solid. It will be interesting to see who gets the larger contract at the end of the year. I would wager that it will be Latendresse. Way more NHL games and a solid year vs soft lazy guy with talent. I will reserve judgement on this, but man it's hard not to be a little disapointed. I hope I am wrong.

So is he a centre or what? I think Gainey looked and said OK, I have 3 young guys of talent in Lats Sergei and Maxpac all kinda fighting it out for the same postition. Maybe it was just a matter of having an under achiever develope at centre instead. This should be interesting. I'm a little worried about the whole thing. I really liked Latendresse. If he is a centre, it is worth the risk I think.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm sure Plek has assisted more of Cammie's goals than Gomez, and they don't even play together regularly CC...I have a very good feeling about O'Byrne. It would be great to see him play with Markov. Markov O'byrne Hammer Spacek Mara Gorgez Gill Bergeron playing right wing on the fourth line. That's depth. Add to that the fact that Spacek is not playing his natural side and the hopefull developement of Carle, Belle, PK, and Weber, and I think there could be room to unload those two guys. I think Spacek could take Hammer's place if he was on his natural side.

Ya, I got a bad feeling that old Gomer will be the goat for the next 4 years. I can actually see us buying him out by the end of next season, unless he picks up his game. I actually prefer him to Kovy in many ways, but he's gotta produce a little better to survive on this team.

His numbers in his last 5 games are great too. I forget exacly, but his save percentage in the last 5 games is awesome. I love his swagger right now. Ok his save percentage is not awesome, but .927 is pretty good.

I sometimes see that, but other times I see how he is effective. I'm on the fence with Gorges. Over all I think he is doing well, when you consider his experience. I do see what you mean though. He coughs up the lot.

Uhhhm, we are getting secondary scoring from Plek. He has been unbelievable this year. Gomez, Kosty, Max, Lats all need to step up.

It's tough though. White looked great in the third period against Carolina. He doesn't have the hands, but he brings his lunchbox everyday. I would certainly play SK over Stewart though.

I can't figure out why they Spacek hasn't been allowed to play the left side. And I do believe that O'Byrne being out leaves a hole. This is only based on the fact that he is right handed. Nothing more. Watching all those lefties trying to clear the puck on the right boards is painful to watch. You guys must see it. They keep trying to backhand it with their ass facing the blueline.

Carey has been unbelievable in 4 games now. This is promising. The first two, Boston and last night. He was the best player on either side in all 4 of those games. I don't know if that can be said about another habs. That they dominated 4 games this season.

Ya that was really funny. They were both laughing after it. I was so glad to see Carey laughing about and relaxed after seeing more rubber than a Thai girl in a US marine port.
