I admit that I am not familiar with Willson's work. I mean I know he has been the GM in San Jose for a while but would he be a good fit for us? He has never really won anything has he? And he has a pretty good team out there.

i think your being a little hard on him...although it was kind of dumb to sit him during the shootout

the more I hear from Marc Crawford on TSN, the more I think he is the coach for us next year....i know the GM position will be filled out first but he just seems so knowlegable and approachable. And with a young team coming up I think he could be a great teaching coach.

ya I have to agree i think we would be taking a huge step backwards with those trades..... Pleks is better value than stasny, they produce the same but stasny is paid more subban and markov are way better than green and brower and lastly I would rather develop our own talent than take Nash...i like nash but we dont need another big contract...plus in 2-3 years (maybe even next season) the player we get with this pick will likely be producing close to what nash produces (70 - 80 points)...

well its looks like we will be able to get one of the two....my only concern with Galchenyuk is that Bob Mackenze thinks Grigo is the #2 pick and he has Galchenyuk down around 5 or 6. he is really the only "hockey Insider" that I really believe knows what he is talking about, so I tend to believe him, but thats not to say Gally won't pan out to be better in the long run.....i guess well find out in a couple of months

I think we will all be happy with whomever Timmins picks....having a top 3-4 pick is special and we are definalty going to get an impact player......i am still pullling for a Grigorenko and Roy combo...I think it would work well...it will and another layer to the soap opera that is our team. (as much as we hate to admit it we all love the drama) Grigo is like 6'3 and 200lbs and hes still growing.....thats a wet dream two years ago, combined with his relationshiop with the prodical son (Roy) i just think its a match made in Habs heaven
