100% agree. Galchenyuk looks lost without another skilled guy and it's ridiculous that Bournival us getting Parros type minutes. -
100% agree. We do badly when we got suckered into their game

The end of Guillaume Latendresse's career

AK46 deserved to be ahead of Lats. Fats had size had size but rarely used it an didn't look like someone who cared about conditioning. When AK46 wasn't scoring at least he was usually physically engaged and he looked like someone who worked out. When Lats wasn't scoring he was useless. I think had Gainey put in a decent player development program and given Lats the chance to dominate in the minors, he would have been a better player. Instead the French media treated him like a rock star and that's the way he acted. he rarely showed the dedication to become a hockey star. -
He WILL be a liability either way. The guy is a fighter, not a player.

The end of Guillaume Latendresse's career

Biggest failing of the Gainey rebuild was he has no concept about how to develop players. He and his staff were old school and just expected professionalism from players. What was curious that while there was bit proper support network for younger players (like the player development personnel that MB brought in), Gainey was willing to play head shrink for veterans, or more specifically become the "Kovelov whisperer". Too many kids were rushed and than had to deal with lousy communicators like Carbo and Martin. -
what a rocket by Gally!!!
-
we tend to lose when we get drawn into their goon game.
-
This is why fighting has no place in hockey. John Scott is NOT a hockey player.
-
think there will be any question about Karlsson not good enough on D for Sweden?
-
Because I think we can get much more offense with him playing with Eller and Galchenyuk. They aren't as dangerous without Galleghar. I'd have 3 strong lines than two strong and 2 okay lines.
-
I'd rather have White. White's Sakarya is cheap, he has been great this year. Ott is probably making 2.5 what White is getting paid.
-
Those dealings were with clueless Joe, not Nill who picked up a #1 centre Seguin so the Bruins can get more depth in their lineup.
-
Depends on what we are giving up. I'd move Bourque, Diaz and dd. Cap wise that would work. Columbus would probably be looking for a 1st, 2nd and a prospect. If that's the price than screw it.
-
Edmonton and Florida are two teams that would have benefited from having a Gionta going into this season. Don't know if Gionta would have been willing to move his no-trade clause. I could also see yhr NJD a team that would probably be happy to take him back.
-
If we are in a playoff position, we can't trade our captain. I wish we moved him last summer, but you can't move your captain, if you are in playoff contention.
-
I wouldn't offer Murrey a contract either, but than I also wouldn't have offered Bouillon a contract last year. A better move IMO would have been Hainsey. He isn't great defensively or overly physical, but he is better than both Murrey and Bouillon.
-
I'd rather have Murrey in for 10 minutes than Bouillon for 16 to 18 min.
-
I wasn't calling out the play of Gionta. The point is that you can't have Gionta, DD, Briere and Galleghar in the top 6 and succeed in the playoffs. Of these 4 only Galleghar plays like he is 6'2" - I don't think he knows how small he is, because his size doesn't effect his effectiveness, regardless who he is on the ice with. Gionta competes, but doesn't have the same fight as Galleghar. Yes, he us willing to crashing into Chara, but rarely will he come away with the puck in those situations. The size and physicality issues is exasperated when you consider that Pleks and Maxpac aren't overly pbysical either. From the guys playing close to 20 minutes, we need more physical presance. We've got that in Eller and Galchenyuk, but their offensive impact is limited playing with Prust and they are also getting less ice time than the top two lines.
-
I disagree. I'd say Bouillon is the worst Dman we have and probably looks worse since he is usually overplayed by MT.
-
I don't get the rationale of that. I'd rather have a pylon that can hit than Bouillon.
-
ovechkin ties it in toronto
-
Not sure why he got the start over Murray.
-
The more I see from Galleghar the more I hate DD.
-
My worry is we would bet burnt again. MaxPac may not be a power forward, but he is a pure goal scorer. He is not the problem. The problem is we have too many players like DD, Briere, Gionta in our top 6,

usual result. Go into sit back mode and get scored on.
