Ya I would agree with that. Sergachev hasn't stood out as much as I would of hoped. Addison I felt had a few good chances throughout but just couldn't bury it.

The only hope MB has is that Markov takes a bit of a hometown discount to retire as a Hab.

Ya seeming more and more like that will be the outcome. If they do go ahead with the move to Vegas it will be interesting how they go about the transition. There is really no temporary stadium in Las Vegas that would be able to host the team until their new stadium would be ready. I also highly doubt the NFL or the Raiders would want to continue to play in Oakland for those years since there would be a lot of resentment and no one would show up for the games. Could look at other temporary cities to host for a couple of years as they have done in the past with the Houston Oilers relocation. Either way with the moves of these teams with such heritage it seems like the NFL is losing a bit of its soul.

So off to Los Angeles the San Diego Chargers go to join the previously relocated Rams. That's very unfortunate for the San Diego fan base to lose the team they love. 56 years in the San Diego market. Were never really a successful team but the fans showed up. Too bad politics and a greedy owner/NFL got in the way. Just couldn't get the Stadium built and now the NFL gets their wish of two teams in LA. I personally don't feel this will be a good move for the Chargers since they won't have the fan base that the Rams have. No real history in the LA area. Probably will also feel like a road game whenever the Raiders come to town. Sure they will make lots of money on the move but the fans lose in the end. Since the Stadium in Inglewood isn't ready yet they will play at the 30,000 Stub Hub center for the time being which is incredibly small considering the other NFL stadium capacities.

Gallagher has a fractured left hand. Had surgery last night in Montreal and will be out a minimum of 8 weeks. Not good news but I'm sure know one is surprised. Looked bad from first glimpse and you knew it was going to be awhile.

Darn which game to choose. Canadian Juniors or Habs? Tough choice. Probably go with Juniors since the game is more important. Will be switching back regularly and good thing their intermissions will be staggered with two different start times. Hope they keep up the effort level that they had in the past little while. From what I've read he would of signed with the Jays had they not have gone out and signed Kendrys Morales shortly after making the offer to Encarnacion. Encarnacion felt he deserved time to test the market but looks like the Jays did not agree.

Enjoying this game quite a bit. Really like what Lehkonen is doing out there. Great to see him get rewarded. Radulov has been a bit quiet as of late. Looks like the Jackets are beating up on the Pens tonight with it already 7-1. At least they are getting all the goals out of their system. Hopefully that bodes well for tomorrow night. Montoya will be pumped to get in their tomorrow to try and avenge his demons.

Line-up Note: Looks like Mark Barberio will come in for Zach Redmond tonight. Guess he has struggled a bit lately so time to change it up. Would be good if they rotate these two quite often. Keeps both fresh.

Ya they are digging themselves a big hole just 10 minutes in and down by 2. All the penalties were in the offensive zone. Not where they should be taking them.

With Shaw out Carr takes his spot on the second line with Danault and Lehkonen. Andrighetto takes Carr's spot on the fourth line. Go Habs Go. Should be a good game with two of the leagues top teams.

Looks like we are going to play in our fourth outdoor game. This time it will be the Senators at TD Place in Ottawa. Still not official (as in announced by the NHL) but has been rumored for a while and this is the first report of a plan. Teams sure like hosting us in these events.
