Good to hear you got it. Hopefully they make it worth your while

Pretty sure CBC.ca is streaming the game. You may need to be in Canada to be able to watch, but thats nothing an extension in Chrome can't fix by masking IPBig kill for the Habs. Sens had lots of chances. Let's see what the third will bring.

Was that the worst power play of the series so far? Hard to keep track...been so many bad one's

MT said after the game that he has an upper body injury that he suffered on the Karlsson hit. Could be a concussion but if he was allowed to stay on the bench, I doubt that to be the case. MT was even asked why he was on the bench and he replied that they wanted him there. If Beaulieu is out next game, expect Pateryn to step back in and Gilbert go to the left side.

Not a great goal on Anderson but I guarantee he's back in next game. Played well enough throughout the game and they've also already messed with Hammond's head. I was watching all of Weise's playoff goals from last year earlier today so I guess he wanted to replicate it tonight. The new fourth line won us the game tonight. We really need to get our PP going. These games wouldn't be so close if we did

Chucky ends it. That's a shit that Hammond needs to have for the Sens. We are slowly chipping away at his confidence. Nice to be holding a 2-0 lead heading to Ottawa
-
Ya I was just reading that in the tweets. He just painted Ottawa in a bad spot if they ever do slash. NHL will take note of that comment I am sure

Mark Stone already crying to the media saying Subban should be suspended and that Subban tried to hurt him
-
So Ottawa had one goal off of an own goal and two off a terrible call.

Got lucky for the Turris penalty for no 5 on 3 but absolute BS. That's not even a 5 let alone a game misconduct

April 11 Reg. Season Finale- Montreal vs Toronto
Habsfan84 replied to DON's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
That's what I'm trying to look into. Only Price will win it for Montreal since Tokarski didn't play 25 games. There was a split in 02/03 between teams. Devils and Flyers each only gave up 166 goals. Brodeur, Cechmanec and Esche split the award. All three played over 25 games. Price will split it this year with Crawford since he was the only Hawk with 25 games. No shame in a split. -

Colorado comes up with a late goal against Chicago and they win 3-2. We tied Chicago for the Jennings. Another award that Price will win. Though this one he will split -

Bring on the Sens Let's see if we can put the Leafs out of their misery here -

So if we get a point, we take on the Sens. That'll be a really tough match up and I'm sure most will have the Sens favoured based on their Cinderella run. It'll be a tough match up but I think we can definitely take it. I would prefer a date with the Wings but home ice advantage in the second is more important. The Pens and Rangers will be a pretty good series. -
Great to see the players appreciate Price for his great accomplishment. Now we only need a single point or Tampa to get just a single point vs. the Bruins to clinch the division. As far as who we are playing in the first round, still so much up in the air. We may find out one thing tomorrow and that is if the Penguins win we can guarantee that we will not play the Bruins in the first round.
-
Just doing a little scoreboard watching. We need Chicago to give up a few goals so that Price can win the William Jennings Trophy for lowest GAA. We headed into this game with 1 less goal against on the season than Chicago with each of us having two games left. We have given up two so far and Chicago zero so far. All depends on the following games for both teams as well. See if Tokarski can keep the number low against Toronto. Chicago has Colorado to finish the year.
-
How so? Tampa would also have to lose. Tampa holds the tie breaker based on ROW.
-
Nope done for the night. Hopefully just precautionary but definitely looked concussed.
-
A point tonight will guarantee us home ice advantage in the first round as Detroit is the only team currently in the Atlantic that can come from behind. Just a matter of what seed in the Atlantic we get between us and Tampa. I'm hoping for three straights wins to close it out so that way we get momentum heading into the playoffs and Price gets the record. Go Habs Go. A very winnable game tonight as Florida doesn't have anything to play for anymore

New HabsWorld Website
Habsfan84 replied to sakiqc's topic in About HabsWorld / Help / Suggestions / Introductions
Okay I have white-listed the Habsworld website to ensure it gets revenue. Yes the two links are easy to see when I am on my computer. Its only when I go on my phone (android running chrome) that the link at the top of the page disappears and the other link is located in the middle of the page (in reference from top to bottom). Its not a huge deal by any means, it just took me a sec when using my phone for the first time. Now that I know where it is its easy to find. It could just be my phone as well but I do tend to find that phones seem to mess up most websites. -

Does using an AdBlock on Habsworld hurt the website in anyway? I know on certain websites it says please disable AdBlock as it takes away from their paying of their writers and maintenance fees. If it is in fact hurting I will be sure to white-list Habsworld as it is a great website and don't want to hurt it in anyway. The website looks great guys. Well done. I appreciate all the time you all took to make it happen. The only complaint I had at first was being able to find the link to the Forums when using my phone's browser. It's located more towards the middle of the page on that version but once you know where it is there is no problem. Its very easy to find when using a computer browser. -
We were actually pretty lucky to increase our lead that period. Seemed like we sat back quite a bit
-
That's the kind of goal you love. Lots of hard work by the fourth line and they get rewarded. I'm sure that also boosts team moral.

MT said that Flynn will take his place vs Tampa on Monday. Its good to have a few extra bodies. I think Malhotra should get a few games here to get in game shape. Maybe switch him and Flynn out every two games. May need Malhotra's faceoffs come playoff time.
-
To get Emelin back in the line up I would be taking Gonchar out. Markov - Subban Beaulieu - Petry Emelin - Gilbert Now everyone is playing on their correct side. Gonchar should still be switched in regularly to keep the D fresh and since he can play either side its pretty easy to do. Weaver will be the tougher one to argue getting playing time but he still needs some reps to keep game ready.
