  1. smyth would be good...but gainey better pull something off.. :hlogo::ghg::can:
  2. Ya well I hope all of this "thinking" is going toward a useful trade. Since its Gainey, I'm guessing it is, but all we can do is hope. :ghg::hlogo:
  3. Yep, I would sure die to have O'neill, or Arnott..or even Comrie would be good
  4. lol.....Jagr....no thanks! Maybe someone like Nedved, Mironov, or even kaspiritus or kovalev..... http://www.thefourthperiod.com/NewYorkRangers.html Go there and you may see the payrolls...even though we will pay 6 million well that is only for the FIRST year...we cant just trade for him and dump him. Anyone else want to add on to this?
  5. lol...I say NO too...first off why would we trade perrault..somebody who's capable of scoring 20 goals for this dude who won't score 10!
  6. I hope a bigger move happens, rather than this mike eastwood character...
  7. I hope we are only "renting" Eastwood...I really don't think he can bring much to the table, besides his size which this team lacks.
  8. Yup...I saw that too...the commentators were not agreeing with it either...
  9. Habs win 4-1 koivu a goal and 2 assists ranger fans chanting "WE SUCK" at the end of game lol :ghg:
  10. hahaha...yep they sure are.....im listening to CJAD off of NHL.COM, and from the booth you can hear them all
  11. This is for all of the idiots who booed him at the bell centre! thats just ridiculous! hes our leader and obviously the best player on our team! wow, really, one little scuffle...ribeiro was probably being an ass beforehand! I like ribeiro alot, but you never know what was happening before it even happened, so nobody can just jump to conclusions....now us fans have this label on us for booing our own captain at home! that sucks! for all of the other TRUE habs fans, GO HABS GO:hlogo:
  12. Nice goal! and i was glad to see bouillion in a fight...never thought that would happen
  13. Well.....I just hope they bring somebody in who can help us out!
  14. Okay, the game against the leafs we put up a good fight for those 2 points. We still lost. I think Gainey should realise that the trade deadline is on MARCH 9TH! you don't have alot of time left, so he needs to make a move. I'm interested in jump-starting this offence? what do you think!!???
  15. Puck, your absolutly right! Man there are so many leafs fans here and all of my friends are leaf fans and I just prefer to watch the habs vs. leafs games myself. It also sucks living here and being a habs fan because I don't get RDS, so therefore i can hardly watch a habs game during the week.
  16. Hmm...I think it should be a sniper. I think that the habs defence can survive until souray gets back. Rivet will need to step up as well as markov but i think they could be okay FOR NOW. I say that we could go after chris drury and taylor pyatt for hainsey, dackell and a pick. drury has the scorers touch and he is capable of stepping up this habs offence and would fit in nicely on the power play. since he is small, i decided to throw in taylor pyatt who is much bigger to even out the size pyatt : 6'4 222 lbs drury : 5'10 180 lbs drury also has playoff experience with the avs.
  17. Yep, Koivu back with Zednik is what I like.....Another thing I like about the lineup is Sundstrom on second line with ribeiro and ryder....gives him a chance to show what he's really about with more skilled linemates.
  18. Very true....i cannot understand why he is rated 82 (i think). Oh well, great game anyways...
  19. Let's hope that Zednik is good enough for tommorow's game....also dykhuis better do well. P.S - I think that it is time that the habs bring up Hossa....maybe his point stint will last longer.....hopefully permanent this time.... :ghg:
  20. Hi, I am a DIE HARD habs fan and I'm from Toronto, and I HATE the leafs. Yup, it's sure hard growing up in Toronto and hating the leafs and loving the habs, and if you survive through it, your a true habs fan. GO HABS GO:hlogo:
  21. I agree with LS....I think Hill is washed up and pretty old. A solid defensemen with hitting ability would be great to add to the club. I'm liking the rumours about Gauthier.
  22. Report: Roenick thinking of retirement 2/15/2004 The latest concussion suffered by Jeremy Roenick has the Philadelphia Flyers centre thinking about retirement. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Roenick is expected to visit with Dr. Karen Johnston in Montreal to undergo some tests to determine the severity of his ninth concussion. Johnston also counts Eric Lindros as a client. "I'm mulling over a lot of things right now and I'm not ruling out retirement," Roenick said Saturday. "We've talked about it in the last 24 hours. I have a lot to weigh. This is nine concussions, and that does something to you." Roenick suffered a shattered jawbone and severe concussion when he was struck in the face by a Boris Mironov slapshot on Thursday night. He has undergone surgery to wire his jaw shut but the concussion seems to be causing more concern. ``My senses have been good, but other symptoms like lightheadedness and dizziness and nausea and stuff like that have been pretty prevalent the last few days,'' he said. ``No one wants to come back more than I do, but no one has to live my life like I do. ``So I have to take some very cautious steps here.'' Roenick said the concussion, in the midst of a promising season for the team, is the biggest challenge of his career. But he remains motivated to return to the ice. "I'm a little shook," said Roenick. "When you take two shots point-blank to the face like I have in the past two months, it's a pretty scary thing. I have to see how the neurological stuff turns out and how my body reacts before I do anything." When told of the talk of retirement, Flyers' head coach Ken Hitchcock felt Roenick was letting his emotions get the better of him. "I don't think there is any question he will be back," Hitchcock said. "Right now, he is riding an emotional wave... . He needs some rest." Yet Roenick made it clear that he would set no timetable for his comeback, saying his health was most important to him. "There are a lot of intangibles, said Roenick. "No one wants to come back more than I do, but no one has to live my life like I do. So I have to take very cautious steps in what I do here." "I feel really bad that something like this has to happen... . This is a year I feel we can win the Cup, and I want to be part of every bit of it. It's very disheartening for me."
