O'Reilly to Edmonton for Yakupov would be beneficial for both clubs I think

Come on now, Marchand only punched Sedin in the face a half dozen times with the ref looking right at it two feet away -

I unfortunately have to go to hockey and will have to record the third period. Should be a good finish, very tight game -

Okay great so we agree the Habs are bigger and younger like I said, contrary to your original post saying the Rangers were younger and bigger. -

okay as long as you say they are bigger, we will just disregard facts. I shouldn't be surprised though -

Actually Montreal is younger, taller and heavier, but nice try -

I have mentioned in the past about the difference having Price in net instead of Tokarski against the Rangers. Except for the obvious reason that Price is all around better, he can handle the puck and start the breakout from our zone. Against the aggressive fore checking Rangers, this has been a problem dating back to the playoff series last season and the game this year when we got thumped with Tokarski in. That part of the game is very undervalued in determining the outcome in my opinion. Just wait and see the difference in the flow of tonight's game compared to the other recent ones. And yes, both clubs are very similar in how they are built and how they play. -

Seems like forever since there has been a game on. And because of the big storm here on the east coast I have been bored at home all day, I for one am stoked for tonight's game. -
I wrote the post and there wasn't any name calling in it. What exactly is the line that can't be crossed around here? Habs rule can write a post directed towards me and not referring to anything of substance about the thread but I can't write that him and 30/31 are more than just friends (to paraphrase my original post)

Well there we have it guys, your NHL mvp for the 14'-15' season. Thread closed
-
I think we agree?
-
The Theodore and Hasek teams were absolutely dreadful compared to what Price has in front on him, the stats don't lie.
-
Ol' Charlie Hudon is putting on a show at the all star game. After two periods so far he has a hat trick with two of the goals being of the spectacular type.
-
Mike Richards has been placed on waivers. I am assuming there is zero chance we pick him up
-
I guess your definition of amazing is different from mine. He would have to go like 23-4-2, 1.80 GAA, 9.50 SV and 6 shutouts down the stretch to be seriously considered. You're the only person I have read online anywhere that has him as the front runner for the Hart so far. And considering that a goalie has only won the award 7 times in like 90 years tends to point that it is very rare for them to do so. But hey, if we all agreed on everything there wouldn't be much to discuss eh
-
Bournival, Fucale and a 1st? It's a steep price to pay but to be able to lock up our second pairing RH defense for years to come in our Cup contention window would be huge. Probably wouldn't work cap wise though unless there were moves in the off season
-
I couldn't part with Eller instead of DD haha. I think those Sabres would be great pickups though if a deal could get done
-
How about Desharnais, Fucale and a second for Myers and Stafford?
-
I agree with keeping Gallagher around. Just a player that every team would love to have, and an essential piece of the puzzle to our future success. His cap hit in the next few years may well be a bargain as well.
-
I think if the Hart was given out right now it would go to Getzlaf. Add in the fact that goalies rarely win the award, Mr. Price would have to have an amazing second half to have a shot
-
Getzlaf, Giordano, Kane, Rinne, Tavares, Nash, Voracek, and Tarasenko are all in the conversation. This year is wide open so far but I'm sure there will be more separation as the season progresses.

Didn't Gallagher just avoid a bridge deal and sign a long term one? Perhaps MB will use that philosophy with Chucky
