  1. Fucale wins again! Snipers Crisp-Nevins-McCarron all score today Vail continues to pile up points with 2a. And finally Bennett shows sign of life with 1g & 1a game (but he is a strong skater and good with puck so he may do well in Hamilton at end of playoffs? unless he has to finish schooling?).
  2. Did u attend game? any dogs stand out?
  3. Should make playoffs, but may not.
  4. 23:00 for Plekanec seems a lot.
  5. But a Benoit Pouloit, Andrai Kostitsyn and Rene Bourque have 100% raw talent, but also low% the latter and the "between the ears" aspect of prospects is sometimes hardest part to project to a pro career..
  6. Done deal, shutout, not a bad game, fairly even.
  7. Gallagher continues to work hard.
  8. Well, all the people who wanted to see Tinordi/Pateryn, you are gonna get a chance to see em, by the look of Emelin going off the ice? Tinordi had a nice scrap tonight, so maybe his "truculence" and size may be a good thing?
  9. Beaulieu seems a better forward than Bourque does.
  10. #11 is easily on his way to a 20+ goal season, super for 1st full year.
  11. Even in losses he makes me chuckle and is entertaining for sure, worth every penny of the $1.5m
  12. Have given up 1 pp and 1 sh goal after two periods.
  13. Nice work by #11
  14. Marlies and Wings score at same time, Dogs (and Habs) down 2-0
  15. Gallagher is working hard once again this game.
  16. Bourque lays on the breaks to avoid hitting the guy with puck? Finish your check.
  17. Almost any shot can give up a tap-in rebound, so just keep firing and have other forwards going hard to net, which is likely more important.
  18. 7:30 for Murray in 1st period and he was fine.
  19. In the 3 shifts they had, 49-71 look fine. LL and Beaulieu look quite good, not Plekanec good, but OK. I wouldn't say it is ever bad to simply shoot and Gionta has got lots of odd angle goals in his career.
  20. Dumont drops them with bigger guy. Dogs down 1-0 McKegg with PP goal, bit of lucky bounce.
  21. Tinordi with "good" fight in the 1st
  22. Not sure what stats are for, say kids picked in first 3 rounds, and how NCAA vs CHL vs SHL vs KHL have panned out, I am sure somewhere that stat can be found? But, I don't care, lots of solid NHLers come from everywhere and I just sort of singled out a couple I "like", that reports/stats from U18 and other tourny's are favourable and McKenzie has slotted for 15-45 range. And may actually be BPA in Habrange (14th -24th) in 5 months.
  23. I was a big fan of Obyrne, Weber (who actually seems to be getting icetime with Canucks), Belle, Valentenko, Carle and other d-men that were busts, so my track record sucks. But, will see if I am wrong again.
  24. I think Bergevin said, in off-season, that teams were mostly inquiring about Eller and Bourque last year. 100% truthful? or maybe I misremember, but that stuck me as odd even last year?
  25. I saw lots of him with Tri-city and he seemed a stand out almost every game; manning point on PP, key on the PK, set-up man, smart with puck and good defensively, but I don't recall him being aggressive nor taking puck hard to the net and likely his PIMs were due to simply playing so much? Hopefully he can turn season around and start chipping in on offense.
