Let Subban freewheel more..hmm?
I would say he should move the puck up the ice quicker.
But, would love to see him going hard to the net with puck more when in opposing zone, instead of circling behind net, tossing it into the slot and not recognizing he is best option to get scoring chance.
What is this speculation based on?
Likely as much truth as me saying Price/Gallagher/Pacioretty all cant stand Subban and would be much happier to see a Tavares in lineup instead.
Pierre-Luc Dubois had 2g 2a today. 62gms 42g 99pts. 12pts in last 5gms. Likely will be picked right around 7-10 range the Habs will be picking in.
And of course the important part...he is 6'3" 200lb+ forward.
Lehkonen assisted on only goal in 2-1 loss and series tied 1-1 vs Djurgardens.
But he had 2g last game, 1a today, but only played 11+minutes? Still bit injured or just got short shifted today?
Yes!
mostly to allow Dietz to play and see how he does, as well it wont hurt Subban to rest more, also, if he played Habs have better chance of winning.
But, the games are not as entertaining with him out and does seem a bit weird him not in lineup.
(I should of put more of a comment, I agree it looks like you say)
I was a Boullion fan and Weaver did his best. What do they have to do with Therrien being fired? Again someone is just piling on all they can to make their case and in the end a pretty weak statement, basically want change for sake of change, which Bergevin likely aint doing.
If he is fired in April, fine. If he isn't, also fine by me. As Mr.Prine says "that's the way the world goes round." ..."your in a 1/2 in of water and you think your gonna drown".
