Recalled Andrighetto Recalled from St. John's
DON replied to Commandant's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
Cool, I bet he will get a scoring chance or two off Galchenyuk set-up, will just need to bury em. -
Last game 19:04 for Markov 24:15 for Petry and 20:24 for Beaulieu hope to see exact same icetime doled out again today. (Beaulieu played 25minutes/game for couple games last Feb, got his only goal and was a + player, so would be interested to see him get 20+ more often and how he fares.) Pateryn still seems to make smart plays with puck (no string of braincramps with puck like one #74 (and #77) is prone to have and is playing physical , although bit overaggressive on crosscheck, but good to see him knock some bodies around.

Gregoire has played several "noticeable' games, while not hitting scoresheet much...yet. Hope he can move up lineup with Andrighetto-Hollloway called up. Fucale seems to do some 'swimming' in net and way out of position at times, as Price used to do and Condon does bit too much also.

Holloway has been recalled and Pelly out hurt I heard, but Holloway wont draw in. -
Smith-Pelly alos out, so both Holloway & Andrighetto called up eh?
-
Artturi on 3 game goal scoring streak, great to see him continue to produce, getting 16-17minutes last few games.

Can the Oilers snag another #1 pick overall? They are trying hard to do that it seems.
-
Yes good to see them win, but they still are picking top 10.
-
No, think of a prospect you don't want to trade...maybe McCarron or Scherbak, 1st pick, toss in a Beaulieu and then you might get Columbus's attention.
-
What is to become of this kid? (So I assume now he is free and clear to report to AHL anytime now?)
-
But you do have to watch the Panthers, so can see why have to bribe people to even come.

Pateryn sat much much longer, plays a much tougher position than winger and still looks like a pro, #13 does not. And as Nilan noted, neither Semin nor Tinordi have been outworking teammates at practice, nor are on the ice before nor after them. Semin still thinks he can still get by on his skills and dosent need to change his lazy attitude, whereas maybe Tinordi has packed it in and is simply waiting for a trade.

The German has only played 45gms 21pts...what did Galchenyuk have in his rookie year? Monahan is playing 20+minutes (and still only has 2 more points than Galchenyuk), he would not be playing 20+ on a strong team like Habs. So NO the grass aint always greener, although may appear that way sometimes. Galchenyuk is doing fine (no not "great" or as hoped by many I agree) Galchenyuk is playing 3rd centre minutes is just a fact, what does your favourite habit have to do with anything Joe? -

Galchenyuk on pace for 50pts, which is OK as the 3rd line centre. I do like he is 53% on faceoffs, which is a surprise. -
Pateryn/Gilbert and Galchenyuk's line were not on for any goals against, 1st pairing stunk enough in own end for all the d, really liked Markov backing up so his young countryman Grigorenko could walk right out front. Max/Petry/Gallagher all with 6 shots, but Subban had 8.
