All aspects of team have been hot/cold (which goes with being youngest AHL team), team defense has sucked at times with lots of turnovers, as had offense with lack of shots and goalies have let in some softies, but overall been OK. And Barberio as #1 d-man plays the most among a young d-core, so need him to 'shine' more than others as a leader/mentor.

Same maybe can be said for Barberio, which is worse cause he is a d-man.

Only issue is, need to waive/trade/injury to someone first before anyone can be called up.

Holloway had no points, but came back to catch guy on breakaway late in game. Lernout goal slapshot through traffic from point. Ellis slapshot from high slot, off McCarron's deflected shot attempt. Carr pushes one under goalie for bit of garbage goal, but nice comeback.

I see Tampa is 7-7-2, are they weaker this year or just have missing players? Columbus & Leafs battling it out for 30th place, nice to see.

Bergeron kicked Plekanec's butt on faceoffs winning 10 of 14, but Galchenyuk was frickin 75% and love to see that part of his game really improved this year. 2 for 3 on the PP, JJD is the genius maybe? Bryon with 5 more hits, but Emelin had 7 and one was a beauty on that rookie. Flynn had 4 shots and Captain Max had 6. Galchenyuk also had 2a and 2 shots in only 11:35, nice game kid. (Good non-goal call, goalie didn't have a chance and Gallagher put himself behind goalie and in-crease in the first place, not Chara)
