Shaw 14:39/gm, Weise 14:20/gm both were 8th among forwards and similar goal totals. So wont be a surprise to see Shaw moved around the 2nd and 3rd lines. Shaw averages 17.8g/82gms and likely what we should expect from him.

Well, basically had 3pp goals, so Muller must be pleased. Nate was great with 4pts and his partner Pateryn with 3a and team leading 26:01. Radulov seems NHL-ready and I think he didn't even play in the 3rd period (did he?), given game was won and didn't need him. Shaw had that goofy antic during his fight, seemed very bush-league and he also deserves a suspension for hit from behind. Not good to see the real softie on Montoya (is he an upgrade on Condon?), but Caps seemed to be a very weak team and not much of a test. McCarron did well in the circle and played 'OK' and Hudon had couple nice plays. delaRose had zero offensive attempts and seemed invisible out there.

And the Habs charge full ticket price to watch this roster? How will Radulov play? He should stand out at least. Hudon, Lernout, Samuelsson would be the three I am most curious how will look. Maybe also how bad will Matteau be?

I simply meant a "Vegas" scout, just odd to see and I guess the expansion draft will be in the background all year long. Scherbak and Galchenyuk wouldn't be a good PK pairing anytime soon that is for sure. But Timmins noted those two played well together last year, so might be interesting to see Scherbak get a chance to play with him.

Would like to see Scherbak get a game or at least a few shifts with Galchenyuk.

Saw bit of express game and Carr played like Gallagher-lite again and like Lehkonen getting into the slot and almost banged home tying goal along with Gallagher at the end. Gallagher, Carr, Byron and Lehkonen all seem like smaller guys not scared to go into a corner (although Lehkonen was only playing a 1/2 Jersey squad and not vs Rangers or Ducks)
