Tired of outdoor games, but I know they make $$ so that is all that matters to lil Bettman.

However plays out, Nikita is a huge hit with TSNmedia, Habland and is key star for Everett to be where they are in the standings. He is so personable,confident and skilled, can he be a similar player to a Galchenyuk or Sekac? Only time will tell of course and I do have better feeling about him than Bozon, or Audette and maybe even Lehkonen and much better than Big Mikey. (But just how good will Hudon be is bigger question I have right now.)

Is very easy to say he is so good is a chance will make team and most like to project kids based on play vs other teenagers, but even top picks like say a Max Domi, or Sam Reinhart simply find transition a lot to overcome. They tend to be underpowered (even a Tinordi got pushed around by medium sized NHLers) or not have confidence to succeed with reduced minutes and not being the go to guy, as they were in junior. But, when you hear Timmins commenting that Scherbak looked good in his first Hab camp and quickly seemed to gel with Galchenyuk, is darn tantalizing to keep fingers crossed, hope a roster spot will be available next fall and he gets in the Calder trophy running. I thought Sekac would (should) start in AHL and appears he is doing fine, but I would guess KHL experience must be a factor. I think odds still darn low Scherbak can make it out of camp and fully expect him to start in Hamilton. Timmins also said Scherbak grew a lot this past year, which he said "makes him seem bit like Bambi on ice"; but seems to be adjusting fine and who knows if he does that again next summer, adds strength/ speed he could be hard to handle for sure.

Sure, but they aint gonna go 2-8! When was last time they went 2-8? When Carbo got fired? But get your point yes, and a 10-20 stretch might do it. (the X-mas through New Year road trip will be biggest test of winter, I think)

Sorry, Habs Rule sarcastically coined the 'Genius' bit, when I argued he was good or above average coach. And, all can find faults or pet peeves they disagree with him on, but team is rebuilding, winning, improving, has nice group of prospects... so I cant complain one bit (unlike some who are total opposite....not that there is anything wrong with that! just odd) .

The current coach of my favourite team, has a total record of 104-63-15 since hired, not too shabby at all! What record does your team's coach (assume that has to be Randy Carlyle) have over that stretch? What idiot would fire THerrien anytime soon....when we all know New Coach smell wears off darn quick if aint a winner. Just win baby!! :hyper:
