He was beat up already and a shell of himself in the playoffs, and then separated his shoulder in the last game to top it off. He's in rough shape legitimately. Nic Hague traded to Nashville and signs a contract of 4 years x 5.5 million. I'm glad we stayed far away from that one and got Dobson instead. That contract is STINKY for a 3rd paid D.

Ideally yes but there just arent Cs available and a vet , who is defensively responsible, and has a low cap hit, who can be 2c for 2-3 years and can transition to 3C when time comes on that cap hit will be fine as 3C. I also think his game meshes really well with Demidov. And Matheson isnt young and has one year left.

I would do a deal centred around mattheson for RNH absolutely. Hes played some wing lately but i think thats more due to the oilers having Connor and Leon than that he cant be a C
