What would the asking price be for Ryan? If it's Carter and a prospect then does that mean we have to offer a 1st round, a top prospect (i.e. gallagher, Tinordi or Beaulieu) and then a young roster player (i.e Pacioretty)?

But he hasn't scored.and $6 million for a 22 goal season is no good enough. Sure Cammalleri has been injured and sure he has been very good in the playoffs for back to back years but unless he starts producing then there may not be a playoffs for him to even play in. What angers em most about Cammalleri is that he plays selfish. What I mean by this is his effort. On way too many occassions the opposition separates from him because his feet are not moving. Secondly he bails way too often when someone exudes some physicality. He plays as though he is afraid to get injured again instead of getting the puck out of the zone or making the difficult play. I'm hoping Markov has a huge effect on his production on the PP otherwise it may be time to move him.

I hope he is 100% and not 90% because I want to see Markov for 3 season, not 3 weeks or 3 months.

Whats the issue? We look like a dominant team one period, but then look like the worst in the league a period later? Is it a coach who doesn't make adjustments? A team that depends on the system for success? A lack of commitment from the players?

I don't think Pacioretty will be suspended however I think he should. Pacioretty is not a physical player. Way too often he'll be in on the fore check and then ultimately peel off the defender a dn never make contact. He averages basically 1 hit per game, basically repeatedly waits for that one opportunity and then hits a guy. Against Pittsburgh again, just one 1 and I hate to say it but I think he tried to hurt him. Perhaps not with a head shot but certainly make him pay for cutting across the ice with his head down. It was cheap and dirty and it' the exact type of hit Cooke has been chastised for which absolutely must be eliminated from the game.

Can only mean one thing. Markov to Gill for the 1-timer on the PP.

We definitely have a logjam at center but going forward both DD and Gomez should not be part of this team. I like Plekanec and Eller but the would like to see another big bodied pivot down the middle. Is Comeau the answer to that question I don't think so I do think that Comeau could have success on the RW. He is young, did score more than 20 last year and size. Think he could be handy for us.

Dude I know the feeling. My boy is sick and my daughter has a fever and a wicked cough. Personally I want to see a couple of our guys packaged for a bigger return instead of dealing 1 guy for a 3rd, demoting this guy etc.... Given Markov we really need a left handed shooter with a cannon of a shot. Unless Pleks stays on the point and ultimately becomes a shooter?

But if Markov is on the left side then where is the 1 timer to Subban? Basically means having to take the pass, take a second or 2 and then shoot ultimately allowing the goalie time to get in position.

I would part with Gomez for pretty much any player in this league. For instance......why not trade him back to the Rangers for Redden. Redden is not a bad player. Not worth his money but certainly still a top 4 player. Because of Darche. He hates the Danish.

But one of the best plays we had in the arsenal was markov fake shot and cross ice for a 1-timer. This play which was so effective for us will be eliminated. Personally I would go with Markov and Emelin/Spacek/Campoli on the point and then use PK on the second unit with Weber. I really would hate to see amrkopv play on the wrong side and effective eliminate his options.

I personally think thats a horrible combination. Markov is most effective on the PP when he is playing the left point. When he was there his #1 option was a pass to the left point for a Souray, Schneider or Bergeron blast. If that was taken away then he would go for the cross ice pass for a Kovalev 1-tmer. That's what made our PP effective. If he is paired with PK then it means Markov playing the right side of the PP where he has spent very little time. It also eliminates the cross ice pass to a 1-timing Cammalleri for instance or both players play their respective sides ultimately eliminating the the 1-timer. We need a left handed D-man with a big shot for Markov to be most effective.

Yesterday the islanders have placed Comeau on waivers. I know he is struggling this year with 0's across the board but then again the entire Islanders roster bites. Would you like to see Gauthier take a chance on this kid? He is coming off a 24 goal campaign and is a big right handed center which is always handy. Thoughts?

Anyone who doesn't see him lost out there at times is certainly not watching the game. Emelin will be a good player and certainly a top 4 on this team but he struggles with the angles of this game. It's justifiable for sure having played 20 years on a specific ice surface. His back is often turned to the play, he often goes for the wrong guy in front of the net, wanders to the wrong side of the ice.....none the less he has to play ahead of one of Diaz/Weber because of that added element no-one else on the team has.

Avtsin is nowehere close to being an NHL but like you said man was Engqvist completely useless. For me it would be Blunden, Willsie and then if we just needed a 4th liner to play 4-5 minutes a game then I'd bring in maybe Conboy. Again not NHL ready but he can easily just skate around, throw some hits and drop the gloves on occassion when needed.

Totally confused Cammalleri and price on that one.

It was horrible. Darche did it because of his innate racist tendancies.Either that or he was upset with one play. I'm sure everything is fine now

Eller and Darche were extremely unhappy that Subban did not pass to him on a play so Darche took it upon himself to scream at him on the bench.
